Does this plugin solves the issue on IIS 6 pretty permalink issue?
I have searched for solutions and stumble upon installing third party programs to the server ( which I don’t have any access ) I’m sure that my client runs IIS 6 web server and according to my research IIS 6 does not have any built in rewrite module.
Response are very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Any help is much appreciated.

]]>(This is using the Web Platform Installer 4.6)
The product did not install successfully. Unable to load DLL ‘sqmapi.dll’: The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULTS 0x8007007E.
The Web Platform installer did successfully install MySQL, and it appears PHP is installed in it’s folder. All other dependencies appear to have been properly installed.
I’ve also added IIS 7.5Express to the system.
Any thoughts, or is this just something that’s not possible unless I’m running a full IIS7 based system, which means at least Win2k8 SP1 server upgrade.
Thanks.

]]>I’m the only IT guy at my company, and we have installed WordPress on our webserver (IIS 6). I followed the 5 minute installation and everything went great. Except until the person setting up this site tried to upload a theme. This is the error we get:
Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2013/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
I’ve searched for this error, and all I can find is information about setting the permissions to 777. I’ll confess that I have absolutely no idea what that means. What permissions? It occurred to me that maybe I need to set up FTP access to the wordpress directory, but I can find no such spot in wordpress to identify an FTP server/login.
I’ve also heard that it could be an issue with the file size, however I have verified that the file is below the limit set in php.ini.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What is wrong / I am doing wrong here?
This is my second WP site on the server – the first runs fine.
I did not do any adjustments to the server before I installed WP on the second site, which is a full WP site. So I do not understand why it happens on the seconjd site but the first works very well.
FYI: I’m using 2003 server/iis & PHP version 5.3
Thanks!
Kind regards
Daniel

What am I doing wrong?

]]>Installation worked ok – but when I login (which works) some pages wont load like when i click on media (htttp://mysite.com/wp-admin/upload.php) it just times out and the error message in the FF shows up:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I have abosluty no clue on how to solve this – I been googling but have found nothing usable about this topic.
same thing happens aslo on:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=woothemes
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=woothemes_framework_settings
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=woothemes_seo
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=woothemes_sbm
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=woothemes_framework_update
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=woothemes-backup
In the page /wp-admin/media-new.php im expering an error to – It’s not specified but the files are not uploaded – the error just say’s “http error”.
Thanks a bunch in advance!
Kind regards
Daniel
