Plugin can’t find illustrations

The Envato Elements plugin allows searching for photos, but it doesn’t ever return results for illustrations like on the website. Is there a reason for this? We primarily want to use Elements for illustrations, not photos, so without this function the WordPress plug is useless for us.

Are Portfolio and Blog posts separated?

Positioning button over illustration

I am trying to find a way to put a MaxButton on top of an illustration of a page created in GIMP

The front page of my website was designed in GIMP and I placed it as an illustration. You will see it is divided in three columns. These are NOT WordPress columns. I built them into my illustration. I would like to place a button in a specific place on my page. Namely, directly under the illustration on the left with cover art for the album “Connect the Dots”. I am trying to provide a link from my front page to my music store where the album is sold.

Is it possible to add a MaxButton over an illustration. I also left a small empty space where I could place shortcode, but I’m not sure if WP is only reading the space as part of the illustration.

I’m a newbie to css, shortcode, WP and GIMP or Photoshop. I’m learning this on they fly. I have to say I’m having a great time, but it is difficult for me to find tutorials or documentation of what I want to do. It would be nice to keep designing pages with GIMP/Photoshop, but if I can not use link buttons to other pages, I’ll have to stick strictly to WP Blocks.

Word to describe this type of theme/design?

Hi,

I am looking for a theme that seems kind of like an illustration. I am not sure what word to use to describe such a theme. I’ll give some examples and hopefully you’ll understand what I mean.
Here are some examples:

Illustration bug

Hey, since we have installed this plugin it always has problems with being right illustrated at the frontend. We just don’t know, what to do. Sometimes it works with updates of the plugin, sometimes not. We always update both wordpress and plugins. The bug is always the same, the calendar gets illustraed as a list, which makes no sense. I’m really new to wordpress and am struggling with my page..

on the front ‘portfolio’ page if you hover over the images there is some really faint text that is the project title. Just trying to figure out how to put the text underneath the image OR make the text a different colour to be more visible? really struggling feel like ive tried everything!!

fixed illustration in classipress ad

Some month ago I posted a question about ribbons on the main illustration in classipress. See below. Up till now I have no solution.
Now I have another question:
Only for a specific category I want to have one fixed illu/photo, thus advertisers cannot upload their own illu. Is there a solution?

I’m running a Classipress site www.abientot.nl for Dutch fans who love France. Adverts are for holiday accomodations, real estate etc. Advertising costs are 15,- Euro for 100 days and optional 15,- Euro extra for a TOP advert in the slider bar for 50 days.
Now I am looking for a plugin for a ribbon on the main photo, preferable a choise out of 3 ribbons in different collors, f.e. LAST MINUTE in red, EXCLUSIVE in blue, LOWER PRICE in yellow. Choice is made after filling in the advert, so the advertiser kan choose out of 4 possibilities, including the TOPadvert.
Who can help me where to find a solution.
