Left or Right aligned Images are no longer offset

I was creating a new template for Single Pages in Twenty Twenty Three. It wasn’t my intention to edit the “Content Area” but somehow now the images are no longer offset on new posts. For example, here’s an older post, with the image properly aligned-right, outside of the content:

But when I try to create a new post now (even using the default template) all the images are forced into the small reading area for the content like this:

I’m confused how this could have happened since I wasn’t messing with the theme’s code, and there isn’t an option to offset images in this way through the WordPress/FSE interface (right?!).

It even looks correct in the Edit Post area, like so:

I tried updating the theme to see if that would fix it but nope.

How do I get the images to display outside the main content text area? What could I have possibly changed to make this happen?

And just to confirm, this is a default feature of Twenty Twenty Three, right? I tried looking at the demo for the theme, but it didn’t include any left or right-aligned images.

Ultimate Member 2.8.7 misaligns images, fails to display iframes.

I manage a website that has used Ultimate Member version 2.8.6 and lower for the last three plus years, with no issues. Recently, Ultimate Member updated its version to 2.8.7, and the rendering of the image on the page left-aligns the image (instead of centering it as before), and the iframe that embeds YouTube is completely missing, even from the rendered source code.

This imgur post shows the rendering with 2.8.6 on top, and the rendering with 2.8.7 on the bottom:

The relevant code from the webpage is included as the third picture in the imgur post. I could not paste it here as it rendered to HTML.

As a test, I disabled all plugins but Ultimate Member. Using 2.8.7 fails. Switching to use 2.8.6 works. Switching back to 2.8.7 fails again. Can the 2.8.7 plugin be fixed so that this no longer happens? I’ve fallen back to 2.8.6 for now to hope that you can fix this. I could provide a non-Wordpress login (an Ultimate Member login) if you’d like to test the link.

Content Area Width on Pages & Posts changed following 2023 v 1.4 update

Hello,

After updating the Twenty-Twenty-Three theme to version 1.4 my posts and pages Content Area has decreased in size, squeezing the content in to an area in which it doesn’t fit with some of it not being viewable anymore as it doesn’t fit within the Content Area.

I have tried to make what might be the correct changes in the editor to the Content Area width but when I view any changes I’ve made it isn’t making any difference, or it is completely wrong and throws everything out.

I’ve reverted it back to which it started and would be grateful if someone could advise me as to the correct way to increase the content area for my pages and posts please?

It’s also caused the images in the pages and posts to revert to right alignment.

If the width could be increased for the content area to take up more of the space on the screen it would allow my content to be viewed correctly again. As for the alignment of images, perhaps this is something which will be corrected if it is caused by the same issue that has affected the overall content area following the update?

Images are not centering

Hello. I’m asking here because I’ve had no success getting questions answered by Advance Blogging Theme Support, so I’m not sure if they’ll respond to my question. They did an update on Feb 26 and now all of my images are left aligned, when they were previously center-aligned. I want all of my images center aligned. I’ve seen this in the forum, but it generally is older information and more specific, so I’m asking here for help. Thank you. The align center feature for images is not working. Thank you.

Chance image / text alignment in mobile

I have a website on WordPress and use the Graphene theme. In posts and pages, I align the images to the left and it appears properly on the desktop, but on cell phones (mobile/responsive version), due to the alignment and size of the screens, the post appears with the first words of the paragraph broken into a few letters on the side of the image, circling it lol… I would like to know if anyone suggests a CSS code so that in the responsive version the site does not align to the left, but to the center, putting an end to this problem… Because it is aligned to the left, the image ends up having some letters from the first words of the paragraph surrounding it… is there a way via CSS to cancel the alignment only in the responsive version? Thanks

Wrap text round image

Working on an off-line setup with the latest version of WordPress and Twenty TwentyThree.

I’m trying to rework this site to use Twenty Twenty-Three but cannot manage to get the text wrapping around the image as per the current site. It’s using the Hueman theme but I’ve not had problems wrapping text in a variety of pre-block themes.

I’ve tried various combinations of groups, stacks, rows, and alignments but haven’t found the magic formula – I assume there is one!

Duotone effect disappears when image is aligned (left, right, center)

I noticed that the dutone function does not work anymore if an image is for example aligned left. If no alignement is chosen the dutone works fine. I am not sure for how long that has been the case. Running WP 6.4.1 with the Customizr Pro theme.

On the page listed below it affects the portrait images.

PDF Generator doesn’t align images properly

PDFs generated by this plugin don’t work because the images are never aligned properly (left, right, or center) as they are in posts.

After contacting support, they are willing to fix their image alignment issue (as long as you pay them extra to fix what you already paid for).

Also, adding a post link in the footer is possible (and needed by many users) but not able to be done unless you pay extra (even though you already bought the premium plugin).

Don’t pay to upgrade from the free version. The Pro version has the same problems with no support.

Images Are Not Aligned In Center

There is a page that has two images and both are centered in the dashboard but when checking on the site, it is showing on left. I tried to center the image with Customize CSS but failed to do it.

WordPress 6.0.1 Gallery Images “Jumping” Out of Alignment

In WordPress 6.0.1 I am having issues in which image galleries appear to be be forced into aligning left. Everything looks fine in the editor, but when previewed or published the gallery images “jump” to the left and leave an odd space to the right. This did not occur in v<6. Any ideas what may be happening here or how to fix it?
