When i am trying to crop an image 1440×2560 the selection part of the image is not cropped, instead its cropping from the left only, its not cropping the selection.
I am not doing anything wrong i know as the same thing i am doing from last 3-4 Years. please check and lots of Love to Woocommerce commuinty and developers, you guys are amazing

Quick question : Does this plugin allows to manually crop images? I sometimes received portrait images that I need to show in landscape format on my site, thus the need to decide which part of the picture I want to show.

Cropping Not Working

I like the idea of this plugin but I can’t figure out how to make the cropping feature work. When I set the pixel dimensions, it works perfectly. But when I choose the cropping function “Center, Center” nothing happens. It just shows the full image, but I’d like to have a square.

Could you help with this issue?

Crop doesn’t get saved

We have an image size called ‘thumbnail-large’. When I use the cropping tool and save the crop, I don’t see my crop on the backend and the frontend.

I don’t see any errors in the console, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on.

What could be going wrong?

Image catalog crop position

At the moment I’m working on a clients website, where I’m using Woocommerce in catalog mode. I’ve added all the pictures and details to the backend, but when I look at the pictures, some thumbnail crops are not what I want them to be.
I’ve set the thumbnails to square, because this will give the best results. Now I’ve been trying to change the crop position for the thumbnails, but it does not seem te work on the website itself.

As you can see, the picture is longer, but the thumbnail I’ve cropped to the top. If you look at the first picture, the crop does not seem to have any effect on the catalog page.

Can someone help me with this? Is there a (CSS) code to fix it?

Heading and Image moving behind top Menu

I am only having this issue on desktop, and I think it is primarily an issue with smaller resolutions like my Macbook.

Upon a recent update, my image (hosted on Slider Revolution’ and my animated heading (made with Porto) have shifted behind the top menu.

Looking for a way I can somehow add a seperator or padding that will keep this from happening. Any advice appreciated.

WordPress media editor does not work

I am facing a problem with WordPress’s built-in image editor. When I click on the “Edit Image” button on any media file, it opens the attachment details edit options but the image does not show up.

And the Crop, Undo and Redo buttons are grayed out. I need this tool because I have to crop my photos very often.

Here is what I have already tried:

Created a staging site on the same server
Deactivated All plugins (did not work)
Changed the theme back to 2021 with all plugins deactivated (did not work)
Reinstalled WordPress from the updates page (did not work)

This leads me to believe that it is happening because of the hosting server? But the same server also has another WordPress site and that site DOESN’T have this problem.

I am using Vultr VPS managed by Cloudways.com, PHP 7.4 with MariaDB 10.1 and I don’t see any errors in the Browser Console.

Anything I am missing? I would really appreciate any help.

Enable to save cropped or edited Media library image

Hi,

It seems the Save doesn’t highlight when an image in media library is being edited.
I used to be able to do so for years.

The Save appears highlighted when I click rotate. then I go back to crop, do cropping and click save. still an edited image cant be saved. media sees only original uploaded image.

Anyone pls try to replicate this. I run WP 5.6

Hero image is cropping Mobile image display

I am using the Siteorigin Hero image to display 3 rotating slides.
On desktop, the images looks great. But on the mobile, it zooms into the center and crops the image unless you turn the mobile to landscape mode. Unfortunately, based on user testing, everyone wants to remain in portrait mode.
Is there any setting in the Hero image tool which forces Mobile displays to show Full image when in mobile Portrait mode?
If not, what would be the best way to use a slider tool, to show full image on mobile in portrait mode, without any cropping.

How do I make it so my cover images don’t crop

The cover image here is cropped. It’s size is 1200px x 760px. I would like for it to not crop the image, in the CSS i have “object-fit: contain” but that didn’t seem to work. Any other suggestions?
