Hi All
I have a site that will have hundreds of image files.
On one site I used Enhanced Media Library some time after the site was running and it works fine. Even if deactivated it doesn’t break anything. I can add images to multiple categories etc.
However, I now notice it isn’t compatible with the latest WP version. Not updated in 9 months.
So wondering what you use to organise image files that doesn’t change anything core and won’t break the site if I decide to uninstall?

I’ve been trying to solve the problem of invisible folders for more than a week. I’ve asked for help on three WordPress forums but didn’t receive answers. Anyway, kept searching using different terms and found Media Library Folders.

Once installed, it does exactly what it says it will. Loaded the folders, made the images accessible without issues.

Only suggestions would be to make the description “More descriptive” so when people search for this solution, they find your plugin sooner!

I’m setting up a brand new website with some fixed pages and a blog.

The site is hosted and uses my own domain name. I have used filezila to upload several folders with images and they are in: https://**/public_html/wp-content/uploads/[year]/[month]

I am unable to view any of the jpegs using any of the tools I can find either in Gutenberg or with classic TinyMCE.

The image block gives three options, Upload (which takes me to my desktop), Media Library, or insert from URL.

Ideally I’d like to have the folders available in the media library but >add media >Media library shows just the images I’ve uploaded from my desktop, but the year/month folders and images are not shown and I can’t find a way of accessing them.

Please can someone tell what I’m doing wrong or suggest a plugin that will give me the functionality I need.

I have used this for a number of sites I have designed on WordPress and it’s fantastic. I like that it will work, after I turn over the keys to the site owner, in the background to keep the site healthy by optimizing the images they add. On the times I have written the author to ask a question about my subscription (I went with the cloud version), I got a quick and polite response.

Hi Guys – im having trouble with WP ecommerce thumbnail images

if you look at https://happyhealthyandinspired.com.au/products-page/

and look at the area that was supposed to be an image on the left of the text you will see what i mean – if i view the product in single product view it works no worries, but in product view the image does not work.

if i turn thumbnails off in the store settings it goes away alltogether (no image). in the source it appears that the

additional (and perhaps related) i dont have an ADD FEATURE IMAGE area on my products page.

any ideas? ive spent a whole day trying to work around this issue.

i’ve installed “Ultimate TinyMCE” Editor; i’ve already used it in other wordpress blog ad all run ok.

Now, i have this problem:
when i click on the “image manager” icon, i haven’t the possibility to upload image from my computer; i have only the possibility to past a URL image from web… why?

May depend on the theme (GamePress) I’m using?

We would like to use a wordpress installation as a file manager, specifically a image storage system, that will be use to store public pictures to be linked in other sites.

We would like it to be as easy to use as possible, with drag and drop and a modern interface.

Which theme and plugins do you suggest me for this goal?

I’ve done some searching around and am not exactly what to ‘search for’.

I’m creating a website that requires the background to be a slideshow, and am looking for a plugin that will allow the Admin to add/remove images without messing with the code.

I do not need a gallery or slideshow, just a plugin for uploading the images easily where I can then cycle through these images in the backend. Anyone know of a good plugin that allows for easy uploading on the frontend, and being able to access these images easly on the backend?
