Search Results Not Showing Image Thumbnail On Side

Hello,

I have been using the Yoast SEO plugin for a while now and have had a pretty good experience with the plugin. Lately, I’ve been doing some work on my blog and noticed that my posts, some of which are within the top ten posts don’t show the image thumbnails to the right. In fact, I’ve noticed that none of my blog posts show a thumbnail to the right.

I’ve reached out to a customer support from my hosting provider and other plugin specialists and they said that it most likely has to do with the Yoast SEO plugin not allowing Google bots to read through and pick up all the image files from the post. I have resubmitted my sitemap to Google Search Console and still haven’t seen any changes since. I was wondering if there are any settings or adjustments I need to make in order to get these images showing up properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No thumbnails in media gallery

I’m having an issue where all of my image thumbnails in the media gallery are just showing up as grey boxes. I’ve already tried every solution that I’m able to find online: deactivating plugins, checking file permissions, regenerate thumbnails, all with no results. This is on a brand new installation of WordPress. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thumbnails Appearing Huge

Not sure if this is a consequence of the 6.0 upgrade since I only post these images once a month, but in my dashboard, all the book covers in the post are thumbnail size. When I published, the images were large/full-size. I’ve not changed anything on my end, other than updating the site and plug-ins.

Hoping someone can help me – I am creating a ecommerce store and the product images in the store page are showing up as full size.

I am struggling to modify them so they show as the same size thumbnails.

Can anyone give me some advice for how I can fix this issue.

For every single one of my uploaded .png files, the file sizes most of the thumbnails WordPress generates are larger than the original.

For example, if I upload 1920×1080.png (700kb), then the only thumbnails that are going to be smaller than 700kb are the one with dimensions less than ~960w.

This issue is exacerbated by the fact that the built-in srcsets will often place images that are heaver than the original (since they have smaller dimensions), defeating the entire purpose of responsive images!

Looking at the image meta, it seems the issue is caused because WP upscales all pngs to 16-bit.

Is there a way to stop this upscaling from happening?

Blurry Thumbnails

I have set the backend option thumbnail setting at 300×300. I think that’s default.

When I go to insert a gallery, I want the thumbnails to be 70×70. So when inserting gallery, I change that 180×90 option to 70×70 but this still results in a very blurry thumbnail. Changing nothing at all results in a blurry thumbnail. Please help me out with this.

Hi everyone,
According to one of the plugins I use (shortpixel) there are about 18 thumbnails to each image. I am looking for more info about these thumbnails – What are their sizes? where are they stored? What are they used for? Can I use them and insert them as an image to serve scaled images? Feel free to share links or refer me to info on the topic.

Recently, I have the following problem. Gallery don’t work well.

Please look here:
www.baisch-werner.de > click the picture > klick one picture of the nails > here is all OK.

then click left “Schlagw?rter” “Bayerischer Wald” > and now one of the nails. Here is the Error. (Site with Pickture only opens).
This is so if called “Kategorien” > “Landschaft”.

Strangely, does the call over “Archiv” “September 2016” is working well.

Post not showing thumbnail if we post images using postimage.org site or Imgcilli.net or any other image hosting site . If we upload images using own host then thumbnails are coming on every post . People need to open the post then they can see thumbnails. Kindly help me to shut out this issue .
