“Post-processing of the image failed likely because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.”
I deactivated the following plugins but it didnt help – W3 Total Cache, WP-DBManager.
I also cleared cache and browser history.
There is no problem in uploading photos from Pixabay or from my Panasonic camera. Its just photos from the phone.
Any ideas on how to fix?
]]>Anyway, all sites are at: WordPress 4.9.8, Wordfence 7.1.10, on HostGator, all but one site are using Really Simple SSL 3.0.5, and all also have .htaccess SSL redirects as well.
Files that do NOT upload properly when Wordfence is ENABLED do upload after Wordfence is DISABLED, so we think we’ve narrowed it down to that…although it could be something else.
Also, it appears that the problem files do PARTIALLY upload, because an incomplete icon is created in the Media Library for the icon. When clicking on the icon the uploaded image is visible and it can be set as a “Featured Image” for a Page, but he image icon in the Library is NEVER complete even after refreshing the page. It’s almost as if not all of the WordPress image sizes are being created or something when the initial upload is attempted.
Anyway… very odd and as noted, it only started happening after switching to HTTPS. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
PS – the upload errors happen when images are dragged and dropped or when using button.
]]>Whenever i try to upload images, no matter if i am using Multi File uploader or single file uploader i always get error messages. This didn’t happen before. I used to previously have a WordPress installation on the same domain and same webserver which i deleted, then it was working fine and image upload was working fine too.
Now i simply reinstalled WordPress on same server/domain, but it gives me those image uploading errors. No matter which image i upload. JPG or PNG, no matter what resolution, name or colors. I just always get it.
Somewhere i read that some plugins may cause it, but i uninstalled few less common plugins, but the error was still there. I even upgraded to PHP 7.0. And the other plugins that i have enabled, i have used them all in this same combination on my other WordPress Installations/Sites and they have never caused any problems before.
What causes this anoyying error? Are the developers of their plugins/WordPress so incompetent that they cannot fix those simple errors?
Someone please give me a advice what to do.
]]>i have just installed WP on new domain and i am getting this error
” An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later ”
if This is permission related issue than Cpanel will manage permissions issue by itself … and am using CPANEL … As my other domains are working fine .
Plz give a Solid fix for this issue …
]]>This is the message that pops up:
“To upload any type of media please follow the instructions below.
Please move the file located here:
/usr/www/users/cascadn/administrator/components/com_wordpress/access_points/administrator/wordpress.php
to here:
/usr/www/users/cascadn/administrator/”
So I did just that (move the wordpress.php file to the correct folder), and I still the exact same messgae.
]]>While uploading an image on my blog (I’ve tried both uploading methods), I’m getting following error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10368 bytes) in /home/sizztcom/public_html/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 147
The size of image file that I’m trying to upload is more than 1 MB, and the file type is JPEG.
Please tell me how can I solve it?
Thanks,
