Hello, I have a problem with the compatibility of NGG and my old ImageManager 2.0 plugin (https://soderlind.no/archives/2006/01/03/imagemanager-20/) after upgrade to 1.9.5. The ImageManager is probably the only one usable and clean for our users (I really didn’t find any similar plugin). Do you think I am able to solve the incompatibility, please?

Now when I click on my ImageManager button, the popup opens a new wp-login window. The developer’s site says it’s e.o.l… does that mean a replacement is needed? Because as far as I can see, there isn’t one. Scissors certainly isn’t it…

ImageManager 2.5.2 installation error

here is my issue, I have installed imagemanager 2.5.2 and it doesn’t work. I have this message on my admin pages (I think this come from my provider but i don’t know how to change that :

ImageManager Gone As Well as WordPress Thumbnails

Since upgrading to 2.3.3 I’ve lost ImageManager and WordPress’s image support works fine but without the thumbnail option.

I looked for plugin conflict without success. I hadn’t added anything anyway just the upgrade.

Then I installed XAMPP and tried running the blog from my own system. Still no WordPress thumbnails. Just for the heck of it I added the ImageManager plugin and it doesn’t work on my “home” system.

I’ve done as many word combination searches on this forum and via Google as I can think of over the last few days and I’m not coming up with anything other then some thumbnail problems as a result of I think a pod??? plugin. Can’t remember the name. Nothing pops up on the ImageManager issue. I tried the ImageManager site. The forum there is a tad out of date and overrun by spam.

I’d really like some help but realistically I can’t mess about too long as my other work will fall behind. Maybe I should downgrade (right term?) to an older version and see if all returns to paradise. If that is your recommendation please let me know where to find an older copy and if there are any special instructions I should follow.

TinyMCE Toolbar issue(s)?

Ok.. I’ll try to keep this short and simple

I am trying to get two plugins working with WordPress 2.3
The plugins are “Embed-Video-with-Link” and “ImageManager”
BOTH of these plugins are designed to add a custom button to the WordPress WYSIWYG editor (TinyMCE)
The PROBLEM is that neither plugin’s button is showing up in the WYSIWYG (TinyMCE) toolbar. It’s like no matter what I do, the TinyMCE toolbar won’t allow the plugin buttons to show up
FYI – I’ve tried going back to WordPress 2.1 in case 2.3 is somehow the problem, but sadly I had the same problem with 2.1

I’ve setup quite a few plugins w/out a problem and am a fairly advanced computer user so I’m pretty sure it’s not a user-error thing.

I realize these plugins are not ‘official’ WordPress plugins but after all the support/forum threads I’ve read trying to sort this out on my own, I’m starting to think the problem might be with the version of TinyMCE that ships with WordPress itself.

SO – if anyone has any tips/suggestions/solutions on getting TinyMCE to “accept plugin buttons” or anything like that PLEASE let me know!

Why do I get javascripts referenced twice?!

My websites has being loading very slow in the past week, I think since I started using some plugins, in fact if disabled the site loads just fine.

The plugins I’m using are ImageManager and AJAX Comments, I see that the call for javascripts required by these plugins appear twice in the head. How could I fix this?
By the way I’m using wp 2.0.5 and the theme Benevolence 1.0 by Theron Parlin.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks all.

I use WP 2.0.5 and ImageManager 2.3.7

Usually I use GSiteCrawler, to make a Sitemap, Now to my problem before I aktivated the plugin everything works as normal no 404 dead links, but when I aktivate IM I get this strange urls with 404

And I get allot of them! Probably searchengines wont like this at all!

It seems like every page gets this 404 when its aktivated, if I disable it goes away, any idea??? Someone????

I really like this plugin, it works perfect for me otherwise!

.htaccess and chmod 777

I use a plugin Image Manager where you need to set the upload/images to chmod 777, to get it to work!

I don’t like that, I’ve searched around for a solution to make it a bit safer. What I want is to use a .htaccess file in images folder, and to utilize that only jpg,jpeg,gif and png could be used or disable php,sgi,perl in that folder. The person who wrote the plugin states that you can make that with following lines in a htaccess file

order deny allow
deny from all

I tried that but that don’t work at all, could anyone give me the magic lines that either allow only images or disallow scriptfiles.

ImageManager plugin not working

The ImageManager plugin isn’t working on my WordPress, it was working on my old hosting package but isn’t on this one, it was showing up with errors but we Chmod’ed things correctly and changed paths etc and now the errors don’t show. but it doesn’t work. When I press ImageManager in “write” mode the popup window returns a blank white screen.

Anyone got any ideas as to what could be the problem?
