This post looks like the same problem i think, but i dont see a fix, and i was unsure if i should make my own post or continue the other post.
So my problem is that my images i added to my posts from the Media Library, has gone, instead of the image, i now only see the Title and Caption of the images, as links, when i click on the link it shows the image just fine.
This problem is both on the old posts and in new posts im working on now. The images show up fine in the editor, but when i click Preview or Publish, i get the problem.
Before i used started adding images from the Media library, i was using Easy Media Gallery Pro, and if i use this plugin the images works just fine.
I have also tested different browsers, and this image problem only occurs in Chrome and FireFox on windows and Mac, IE 11, Edge and Safari, has no problems showing the images. Also the FireFox on and Andriod tablet is working just fine, while Android Chrome still cant show the images.
When i made the last post on the 1st. dec 2015, everything was working, i would then on the 4th. jan. 2016 make a new post, and after i updated WP and my plugins, i started to write my new post, and as i was previewing this post i found the problem.
I have deleted my cache, i have tested this on different computers, windows phone and iPhone.
I have tried to disable all plugins, and tested with the theme Twenty Sixteen, the problem is the same.
I have not installed any new plugins in the meantime.
I have talked with the support team of HEAP, they could not find any problems either.

]]>I cannot see images when I edit an existing gallery or try to add an image to an existing gallery all I get is the output below where images should be.

<%} %>I removed the post completely, created a new one and added a new gallery successfully all images showing and post displayed correctly. However when I go to amend the post gallery the same issue happens again!

<%} %>All media is displayed correctly within ‘media’ with the option to edit etc working fine. It only seems to be within posts if I want to update or add to the gallery from existing media.
I am using a child theme, no changes have been made to functions.php regarding image / galleries (media.php).
Hope someone can help point me in the right direction or has an idea what is happening here? Thanks in advance
