I would like to set a fixed row height on the homepage grid and get some extra space between the rows. Is this possible?

imbalance 2 changing header logo

Hello everyone,

I use Imbalance 2 theme. Normally it doesn’t support logo but I put some code in CSS and I added logo on my header. Unfortunately I need to change it but just can’t. I changed the link of image in code, I deleted the image but nothing changed. The logo still stands. What can I do ?

I am currently using the imbalance 2 theme and I am having trouble getting the posts that I make to sort into sub heads. So I make a post and they all sit on the homepage like they should, but then when I click on a page I cant get certain posts to be connected to that page, so that only those posts show. I made categories as well as pages and either way they wont filter to anywhere besides the homepage.

Imbalance 2 – Related posts section not showing what it should

Hello,

I am using the theme Imbalance 2 by WPShower – https://wpshower.com/themes/imbalance-2/

This is the website I am building: https://109.123.92.192/~ariellag/

I have the “related posts” option enabled, but it has recently stopped working as it should. Below a the main body of a post it used to display a grid of thumbnails for posts in the same category. Used to work fine. But now, for some reason, it only displays the most recent posts, ignoring category.

I can;t think of anything i might have done that could have caused this.
I’ve deactivated plugins added but doesn’t make any difference.

Any idea what might have caused this change? And any idea how to fix it?!?

Adding header image to child theme, parent theme had no header image

I’m trying to add a header image into my Imbalance 2 child theme. The parent theme for Imbalance 2 originally had *no* header image. I’m trying to figure out what to change exactly in the child theme to be able to do this. Is it php, CSS or what? I have style.css, images folder, theme-options.php and header.php. I’m assuming I need to alter something in header.php (I copy and pasted from parent theme), but I have no idea how to do that. I’m used to HTML and CSS, not php. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Adding gallery to Imbalance2

I’m experiencing a lot of problems when trying to add a slideshow/gallery to my Imbalance2 theme.
I added the ‘portfolio slideshow’ plugin, but it doesn’t seem to be compatible with this theme. So I tried to add a gallery through the Jetpack plugin, but that didn’t seem to work either.

I don’t really feel like switching themes for this. anyone who can help solving this problem?

I thought about creating a custom page or post template. Would that help?
