First, I appreciate the work of Wp-Shower because the theme is free and its design is amazing! However I realised the boxes appears overlapping each others until you refresh the page.
I read some themes about this bug but I couldn’t find any solutionā¦
Any user could please sheds light on?
Thanks in advance!
I am using Imbalance2 theme. I’ve tried disabling all of my plugins except for easy fancybox and still no go.
I know there is an incompatibility with Imbalance, but not sure how the fix applies to Imbalance2, which is structured differently.
An example gallery page is here:

Thank you for any help you can offer!

I have a problem, I tried to install a Child Theme so I could customize my css without it all being lost in updates, but when I activated the child theme in Dashboard I got a fatal error for functions.php.
The theme I use: https://wpshower.com/themes/imbalance-2/
The site url: https://www.gijsvandersanden.com/
After it failed, I tried retyping some things in the style css in the child theme folder, that didn’t work, then I copied all parent files to the child folder, and then the site looked as it does now. I can’t login to the dashboard to reset the parent theme.
I tried to get in contact with the wpshower forum but after I registered I immediately got notified that I was banned (??? >> You have been banned for the following reason: No reason was specified. Date the ban will be lifted: Never <<<??? very strange right?)
So I did try to get in contact with them but no reply so far. I also tried the Dutch Wp Forum but I haven’t got a reply there yet – this is my last resort I guess. The website should be finished tomorrow.
Hope someone can help!!!
Thanks a million in advance!!
Charlotte
ps. I can’t be that I’m banned because I tried to customize the imbalance theme right? Is that possible?
Im creating a wordpress based site locally using the Imbalance 2 theme.
Im very happy with how it looks this far, but now i have run in to a problem that maybe you can help me solve.
Im trying to make a single post on the front page link to a category instead of the post name.
Instead of going like this:
https://homepage.com/page_name/inspiration/
I want it to link to
https://homepage.com/page_name/category/inspiration/
How would you go about doing this? Any help or tips are much appreciated.
Kind regards
Jakob
However, I can’t seem to get beyond the stage of it just displaying post-links, which then have to be clicked on to view the image:

Can anyone tell me how to remedy this please?
Many thanks,
Geoff.
I just downloaded the Adipoli plugin and want to use it with the imbalance theme, can anyone tell me where to put these codes exactly?
I don’t know what I have to write instead of “#image1”, I want the hover effect to be applied on the boxes, so should i write #boxes ?

$(‘#image1’).adipoli({
‘startEffect’ : ‘normal’,
‘hoverEffect’ : ‘popout’
});
thanks!
I am new to wordpress and trying to use the Imbalance 2 theme. When I type in the caption for a photo, the photo turns into a “polarioid” with a frame and the caption within the frame. Is there anyway to caption a photo so it just appears as clean text under the photo? I haven’t posted my first post yet because I am trying to work out this kink.

The problem is with this website. The link is a preview tinyurl, I don’t want the website’s direct link on here :).
I’m using two separate loops, I am aiming for the following general configuration of things:
Header
Block 1 (light grey rectangle on website)
Blog posts
Block 2 (yellow rectangle on website)
Event posts
Footer
The issues is: how do I position the yellow Block 2 between the Blog and the Event posts.
Code:
html, body, form, ul, li, table, td { margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: “HelveticaNeue-Light”, “Helvetica Neue Light”, “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica; }
body { position: relative; color: #333; font-family: “HelveticaNeue-Light”, “Helvetica Neue Light”, “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica; }
body, input, textarea { font-size: 18px; font-family: “HelveticaNeue-Light”, “Helvetica Neue Light”, “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica ; }
Any clue about it ?
