Groupme uses Oauth2 Implicit Grant, I’m pretty new to PHP and Oauth, I tried making a child class in includes/services/extended/ that used this. Then trying to set up the GroupMe service would take me to their oauth login, then redirect me back to my callback url https://MY_WORDPRESS_URL/wp-admin/tools.php?page=keyring&action=verify&service=groupme%3Fstate%3D13&code=ACCESS_TOKEN, but it would just be a blank page.

Is it possible to create a class for Groupme that can use Implicit Grant, or is the core function of this plugin not designed to support Implicit Grant? I know its not the greatest but I’d like to use Groupme to authenticate on my site.

I have followed several different support topics but can’t seem to find an good answer.

Authroization code is checked as well. Both on the client page and in the settings. Please let me know if there is something else I can do to make thos work.

Implicit? Yes
Mailchimp Lists – my mailchimp list
Double Op-in? No
Update existing subscribers? Yes
Replace Interest Groups? No

I’ve done a few test signups to the site which have been successful, but the new members have not been added to the mailchimp list. I’ve tried both Yes and No on the double opt-in and got zero results in getting new registrations into my mailchimp list.

I think switched the Implicit option to no and a checkbox appeared on the registration form – if I go down this route new members to the site are added to the mailchimp list. I don’t want to use this option though and want to go down the Implicit route.

Any idea why this isn’t working?

I want to make the tick box of mailchimp for buddypress registration is a required field.
How to do that?

This is my first time on wordpress.

I have managed to activate the site, and install a theme i have purchased. But I cannot get the menu to show up.

I have emailed the theme creator yesterday with no reply.

I can’t find how to do it anywhere.

Is anyone able to help? Would very much appreciate some direction!
