Amazing plugin… I’m having trouble exporting the setting from my live dev site to my local environment. I export the file and then upload but the settings reflect the very first export I did when I was initially testing the plugin.
What could I be doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help
]]>I manage about 200 wordpress instances so it is really helpful to have the import/export functionality. I can’t seem to get it to import my settings from one instance to another no matter the browser or WP version. I have tried Firefox and Chrome…we are using the latest version of WP. I am also using the latest version of your great plugin. There is a quick error stating “UpdraftPlus seems to have been updated to version (1.13.1) different to the version running when this settings page was loaded. Please reload the settings page before trying to save settings.” This error then goes away magically but the imported settings are not applied. I have reloaded the page multiple times and emptied Total cache.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
]]>I am just searching around and found several instances where people have requested the import / export settings feature.
I wanted to get a possible ETA on such a feature, since it is VERY essential. It was mentioned a few places that it was planned for 3.0 and above and I know you’re sitting at 4.x already… so just wondering if that is a planned feature. it’s pretty useful.
If for some reason it’s not feasible right now… can you please clue me into a way that I can use MySQL and PhpMyAdmin or something to duplicate some of my work. It’s very difficult to copy/paste all the settings very quickly. I would much rather start with 99% correct and make a few tweaks> I build literally dozens of sites that need very similar forms … all the time.
Thank you!
