I have been struggling to get the featured image on my portfolio pages to display a video. I have tried using the Featured Video Plugin but I can’t stop the video from playing in a lightbox. What I would really like to have is the video play on the portfolio page in the size of the featured image without opening a lightbox.

WordPress has an example page in their live preview of my theme, but no documentation on how to create it.

INFOCUS THeme: AD Block 4 doesn’t display in right Column on Homepage

I have attempted to define a 160pix wide GOOGLE Skyscraper ad for the Right column on my homepage.

In defining it, I named it Skyscraper. That displayed (before I deleted it, but the AD content doesn’t display.

Any ideas for me?

WordPress 4.2.2 running inFocus theme.

InFocus – Inactive links, Modifying footer/header, intro blurb sizes

I’m updating my company’s website, and I’m having difficulties manipulating a few items in the style.css template for InFocus.

1) I’ve researched and have not been able to successfully manipulate the “intro_blurb” header title that appears on each page in order to accommodate width needed for the social media icons above the header.

2) The footer and subfooter are falling within the “body block” of the main page, not following the size per the footer.php template. All other pages seem to have no issues with this…

3) There is a dead link in the header, regardless of updating the header.php and the individual page… it only loads the current page.

I would appreciate any assistance! Thank you!!

Using force_SSL Custom Field Breaks Cufon & Footer

Hi there,

Using s2Member Pro I have managed and created all that I need for a Membership Site…great plug-in by the way

We have sorted out our SSL with our hosting company so all good there.

One thing, when I use in a Custom Field:
s2member_force_ssl Yes

This messes with my footer and the Cufon Font no longer works.

Done a bit of searching on Google for any remedy to this and can find nothing.

I’m up to date with theme and WP and by coincidence am using the inFocus theme as you do here at s2Member.

The site isn’t live yet and a way off from that however I’d like to get this issue sorted so I can move on with finishing the site off.

Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

InFocus mobile not working for my site

Hello – I’ve just completed my website but it can’t be accessed from any mobile devices. After clicking the link, a “Site not found” error message displays. I uploaded and activated the free version of WPtouch Mobile Plugin and have the settings (in the Admin panel) set to “Make my site responsive to mobile devices”. I know very little about WordPress and am stumped – it is a business website so I need to have mobile up and running!

Change width of sidebar

I am very new to wordpress and am trying to maintain my company’s website. I am using the InFocus theme and would like to decrease the width of my sidebar in hopes that a map plug-in that I added will be completely visible (the pop-up windows on the right side are currently cut off).

The page I am specifically trying to change is www.brazosurethane.com/contactus.

I’ve looked through some other posts, and have looked on the style sheet for the current widths of the sidebar, but I don’t see any listed. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

add a Button

Here is what I am trying to do…..
On the‘Tutor Registration’ page
(starTUTORs.com click ‘Tutor Registration’ on top menu)
there is a submit button that is currently taking visitors to a page that will allow them to select the paid option they wish.

What I would also like to do is have another button next to that submit button that would take them to a Free Trial page.
I have tried to manipulate the code to add another button, but the plugin seems to be stopping me… or… is it my theme… or… maybe it’s something else …. Who knows ?
Do you ?

Only thing I know is the it’s not this

classes/class-upme.php file and method name is show_register_form

My tech guy said so and… so did plugin support who asked to have a look for me but… who now seem to have vanished.

FYI,
site has s2member and the InFocus_BuddyPress_Child_Theme
does this matter ?

inFocus wooCommerce related products image size

I am adding related products to products pages using WooCommerce. The theme is in InFocus. The image used for the related product is too large and blurry. See:

When you go to the product page it refers to there is no problem with the image, it is not blurry and seems to be the same size as the one used for the referred product as you can see at: https://www.concisedesignsinc.com/product/rafter-finder/

i would prefer to have the image smaller as well.

Problems with InFocus Theme skins?

On one of the test sites I’m using for a website I am using the Infocus theme. What is really annoying is that whichever skin I use seems to go black after a couple of days, and I’m sure I pressed nothing to do with skins! Is there anyone who knows how to fix the problem without restarting the theme? (which deletes all information)
