Inked Blog linking issue

Hi,

Using the free version of Inked Blog… The Read More button only links to the page the widget is on but not to the correct blog entry/post.

I have this problem since the last Update to the newest Version 1.3.7.
Would be nice, if there would be any advice, or help with the bug or Update which resolves the problem.

I tried to get an answer on the forum on www.wpinked.com, but did not get an answer for one week now. Mor people seem to have the same problem. I am not the first who writes on the forum on the developer website on this topic.

Excerpt option from Inked Blog

I am using the very nice Inked Blog Widget.
Only the “Show Excerpt” Option does not work.
The complete content is shown, not the excerpt with – for example – length 300.
What can I do?

Inked Blog: ‘Build post query’ button not working

Love the widget bundle, and right now I’m looking to create several different pages of blog posts based off of different categories, the Inked Blog widget sounds perfect for my needs but I can’t get at taxonomy preferences etc…

When I click the “3 Build post query” button under the “blog post loop” menu nothing happens. no popup, no options, nothing.

Two different Inked Blog plugins are having the same issue: the query is showing a little red circle that says “5” — as in, it’s retrieving 5 posts when it runs the query. Which is correct; there are 5 blog posts. But on the website itself, it’s not displaying the most recent post — only the older 4 posts.

I redid both widgets from scratch but still no luck. Help?!

Widgets (specifically Inked Blog) wont allow me to Save/Edit/Update

Hello,

I am working with the WordPress 4.7.1 and I’m currently using the Gusty Sports theme. My issue is when adding or updating a new Site origin Widget. I’ve tested the issue with at least 6-7 site origin widgets, but the Inked Blog is far and away my top priority. the issue does not occur with other third party or theme-based widgets, only Site Origin ones. When I select the widget to add to my page, it shows up fine within the themes natural page builder, as my goal is to add this to my static homepage. the issue occurs once I go to make changes to the widget such as colors, navigation and stylistic features. it will accept all the features in the respective fields and boxes, I will preview the blog and it will preview just fine exactly how I wish. Then once I go to click “Save” or “Update”, either nothing happens at all, like a light switch not connected to anything, or it will go through and completely delete all of the edits and changes I just made to the widget. Restoring it as if I had never made any changes at all. This includes the title.

I have deactivated all other plugins and still doesn’t work. I’ve tried a few other combinations of things just out of pure guesswork, but still to no avail. I’m hoping this isn’t a permanent theme compatibility issue, if not do you have any direction or inkling into what could be causing my issue?

Happy to provide any and all additional information I can if need be.

Images size for inked Blog

thanks for this wonderful addon.

for inked blog, how can we use image size added via add_image_size() in functions.php
I also tried the plugin “simple image sizes” as advised here, but can’t choose new sizes in inked blog, even if new sizes are activated in wp Medias options

Feature request (or guidance) for Inked Blog excerpts

I have really fallen in love with the PageBuilder and Widgets by SiteOrigin. Especially the Inked Blog is very helpful.

However, I would like the ability to decide which elements from my layout to include in the post excerpts. For instance, I have a heading that is irrelevant to include in the post excerpt but helpful on the page itself. On stackexchange.com I’ve found a solution that should work, although it provides me with a copy of all excerpts from the first entry.

Would this be something you could consider looking more into? (btw. I’ve described this issue in more details here)

Asset file 404 error

I’m getting a 404 error in the dev console – I believe the plugin is looking for a SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle asset file in the wrong directory? The error disappears when I deactivate the Widgets for SiteOrigin Plugin.

Spaces between posts in inked Blog

Using the SiteOrigin Widget Inked Blog, and it has been awesome so far but recently I added another post to the query and for some strange reason there is a space between the posts which I don’t want, here is a link to my website and you can see what the problem is.
