The cPanel site is siteurl.com without https:// or https://
The plugin worked great with my primary site and account.
Please advise.
]]>My host, Inmotion, quarantined my site a couple of weeks ago. I followed InMotion’s instructions on how to restore my site. However, while the site is back up, the content for the posts are missing, and so are all the photos for each post. I don’t know how to fix this. The title for each post shows up on the home page, but the photos are no longer there. And if I click on the post title to reach an article, I get this message:
“Error 404 – Not Found
The document you are looking for may have been removed or re-named. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.”
How can I fix this?
Thanks for your help,
Kim
Core dumps occur when a process is loaded into memory and terminates itself prematurely, causing the memory segment to be written to the disk as a file…
While we are not sure exactly what is causing this behavior, we attempted to extract some data from the core dump to assist in locating the source:
unparseable coredump file
The core dumps being caused by the above command is related to a scripting issue, or the process that generated it may have crashed during execution. If this is a recurring issue, we highly recommend reviewing the file that generates the core dump to prevent further issues.
How do I return to older wordpress and stop automatic upgrades for now?
]]>I’m currently trying to move an existing wordpress.com blog to my personal server hosted by inmotion. I’m struggling to get things going – here is my situation:
I am already running a WordPress site via inmotion hosting, and have been running a different site on wordpress.com (premium) for the past year. So far so good, but the Premium subscription is running out, and I want both sites to be self-hosted on the same server.
Does anyone have any advice on how to:
– create a new www.ads-software.com category in cPanel
– transfer it from WordPress.com (I am using their transfer guide, but am struggling to get the initial set-up going)
– transfer my purchased domain from my old wordpress.com site to the new self-hosted site?
I would appreciate your help a lot!
]]>On Nov 1, 2015, I migrated my domain to InMotion. On Oct 30, 2015, I downloaded a “current copy” of my WordPress files and database files from GoDaddy. I transferred my domain/URL to InMotion from 10/31 to 11/01 (domain transfer was fast).
I uploaded my files and database to InMotion, and then I noticed that the 4-5 dozen web pages I added to my website throughout October weren’t showing up on my website. My website looked like it did way back in early September.
I still had access to my WordPress files and database with GoDaddy, so I restored my files and database to Oct 28, and download the files and database again. I uploaded everything again to InMotion, but nothing changed… the website looked the same.
I tried several more restore points and then I noticed, all of the GoDaddy restore points for October were the same. I restored to 10/20, then to 10/13, then to 10/6, and nothing changes.
It was as if all of the work I did throughout October didn’t even happen!
GoDaddy support was great, but they stopped just short of saying that “maybe I didn’t do all this work to my website?” They said that the database and files they have on backup, all 30 days, are “current.”
I asked if I needed to replace the “information_schema” file, and both GoDaddy and InMotion said “that file doesn’t really affect anything.”
So this post is really just a word to the wise… I don’t know how this happened, but the backup restore points, files, and databases that GoDaddy said I could download as my “current files” were in fact, very outdated.
