Insert/edit link Post a Job Description Editor Not Working

Hi Dear,

There’s an issue when trying to add a link through Post a Job page https://domainname.com.au/post-a-job/
From the Description Editor, when Insert/edit link icon clicked the page jumps to the bottom and can’t scroll up back unless refreshing the browser tab.

Link Text field is gone?

So what we notice recently is that the field where you can modify anchor text is gone?

aka “Link Text field”, what gives? Also are you guys working with Optinmonster seems like some options are added to you guys “Insert/edit link”.

“Insert/edit link” internal search feature not working!

Usually, when trying to add internal links, while editing a post, I can click the “insert/edit link button, type in a keyword and the system will search and display a list of relevant posts.

But all of a sudden, that stopped working. After typing my keyword, nothing appears. There is not even the searching gear icon.

I am using (and have been for a long time) the classic editor.

Haven’t changed or updated anything. I did upgrade to PHP 7.4 but that was a few weeks ago and until today there wasn’t any issue anyway.

I’d appreciate any help.

Firefox & link search in editor

One minute it worked and the next…nothing.

When I go to Insert/edit link and Search withing existing content it only shows recent items and doesn’t recognize that I’ve typed anything in the Search box.

Its Firefox 38.0.1

Does anyone know what’s wrong and how to fix it? I’ve tried clearing browser cache and cookies but its had no effect.

I used to be able to highlight text and click the “Insert/edit Link” button to create a hyperlink in my site. I disabled all plugins, and it still didn’t work. There are other features that have stopped working as well, including: Slide Set Manager (it doesn’t have the same old format where I can select images), and Product Tags (I cannot add product tags while in the “Edit Product” page.

I just updated to 3.3.1 yesterday, and now when I highlight text in visual mode>click the insert/edit link icon>paste in a url>hit add link it simply returns me to the list of posts and the link is not inserted.
I have deactivated all plugins and manually re-installed the update using Filezilla (while deleting my wp-content folder first).
Also, when I try to update any of the plug-ins, the page goes blank and hangs (but that’s another issue I guess)
I am also using a custom theme.
Help!

Word Press Post Functions Not Working

Hello,

I noticed a change in wordpress that three key functions are not working suddenly since the update.

* Permalink Edit Button is not allowing me to change titles.

* Insert Edit Link in the post editor is not allowing me to set the link to open another page or window, and not opening up at all.

* I can not create tags for my posts

* VISUAL / HTML tab will not open to edit posts in html

These are the sudden issues that have occurred recently. I’m not sure if it could be a plug-in that is causing this due to the recent update. Please look into this for me and advise.

P.S. Would this Solve the issue I am experiencing? If I download again the installation and upload wp-admin and wp-includes would that work?
