Any advise here would be much appreciated. The scenario I’m looking at is an on-prem hosting of multiple (possibly several dozen) WordPress instances each of which would be entirely separate sites with different administrators. Many of these admins would have limited technical skills and/or experience with WP upgrades, security etc. and could not necessarily be trusted to do their updates, manage their plugins, harden their installs… Multi-site not at option because of this.
Is there any way to achieve enough isolation from a security perspective on shared architecture (e.g one web front end server, one database server) or would the common ground of the web server user mean this could only be done with one set of servers per install? Thanks.

]]>I noticed a plugin under the “Must-Use” tab called: SSO version 0.3 | By Garth Mortensen, Mike Hansen. Does anyone know that this plugin is for?
It’s not a plugin that one can activate/deactivate. Just curious.
Thanks so much.:)

This was NEVER presented!
BEWARE! Fame Themes appears to want buyers to lap it up and install everywhere, then tell you that you have to buy an annual license for each site to keep it going!

Does anyone recognise this file name? What should I do?
~/clickandbuilds/*FOLDERNAME*/wp-includes/wp-pages.lib.php
The code is below. If you recognise what the code does that would also be useful.
[Malware redacted]
The last bit of code continues for thousands of characters.

]]>Would you know of any way to connect a user (having socially logged in) from one sub-install and a deeper install within the same domain?
Meaning, someone logging into “www.site.com/subinstall” will still be recognized as being logged in at “www.site.com”; and vice versa.
I’d have worded it as Subdomain and main domain install but that’s not my situation since I’ve got my installs as merely subdirectory installs.
I know this might be a stretch, but thought it worth asking nonetheless.

I’m a beginner when it comes to coding but any help/ advice is appreciated!!
