I am looking to create a Map region selector inside the calculator.

The simplest version of what I am trying to achieve is that by choosing a region from a drop down menu I can display an image of that region in for example the summary area of the calculator.

Is such a thing possible?

I understand this is not built in the calculator,
but perhaps there is a possiblity to add custom code to the calculator, so
when a selection Is made, I can display just an image to a certain area.

I’m hoping to use PDf’s to present a mass of data. I originally thought that I might have to get a custom plugin developed but now I think I can do it with pdf’s

I’m going to try not to bore you too much. I think I’ve worked out how to do it but here is the main stumbling block.

I will have an index page as a normal wp page. There will be links to 4 pdf maps of India. On each state will be the state name. If you click on the state name a pdf dashboard for that state opens up. I’ve got someone designing the map at the moment. It will be quite hard to read the details of the map when the pdf opens as is but the beauty of having as a pdf is that you have the zoom controls. The trouble is that you will only be able to zoom in to fixed point on the map. Is there a way of setting it up so that you can move the map around? A bit like on google maps when you left click on the mouse and hold left click down and move the map around. Or am I dreaming and I need to get.a developer to do a custom plug in?

I am looking for an interactive map where users can add pictures and a comment without registering.
I tried a couple of plugins and widgets, but can’t crack it.
I am completely new to WordPress and I appreciate any help on this.

Ideally, I’d like a plugin that creates a new tab in WP-dashboard (similar to creating a post). But instead, fill in information about the description, pictures, and location. So when I click submit, it then drops a pin on an interactive map.

The visitor end will see an interactive map where they can click on pins and see pictures and a description of that pin. (sounds like a great plugin to create

we are currently building a new page with WordPress. The start page should be kept quite simple. We just want to use a header and an interactive map where you can click on different countries. We have already bought a plugin for this. We are using the Theme ?Nisarg“.

Is there a way to add this map to the start page without it being a contribution (i.e. without a box around it or an author)?

I am trying to create a community website but I am having trouble creating the infrastructure the way I want it.

I want to create a community where people can ask questions or create discussions in a forum type setting. I would like to have a feature on a map where you tag the question/discussion to a certain location and a pin will appear there on the map. The user can choose when to expire the pin and the pin expires after a certain time period of inactivity unless they are ‘fixed’ by the admin because it is important information. Users can click on the pin and answer the question, reply and upvote/downvote. Users can also rate the pins and each other and can private message each other. The pins can be categorized per country and per question/discussion type. The question/discussion type changes the look of the pin. They could click on the pins on the map to show the question or sort through the questions in the forum. When a certain question/discussion point is selected the map zooms in to the country which the pin is tagged to. The map shows all the pins in that country. When the category is switched to another country or a pin is chosen which is based in another country the map zooms in to that particular country and all the pins in that country are shown.

Is there a way to achieve the above with WordPress plugins or would I have to create this system from scratch? What would be the best way of going about this?

Can anyone recommend a plug-in that is good for interactive maps? Basically I would like to import a map of the U.S., where the user can click on a logo that is where a city is. From there, a picture pops up that also serves as a hyperlink, taking the user to another site.

Rather than paying fora developer to custom-make a plug-in, I was wondering if there was a plug-in already created that would enable me to do this.
