Certificate does not work with international characters

Hi, whenever I fill in the user name (after the quiz on the page I gave the link to) and the name uses international character such as ? á ?, then the name does not appear in the certificate or there is a sqare instead of it.

Big problem, need to solve this asap.

My post are written in German, so letter like ? ? ü ? are used. When I download my posts, the letters are transformed, e.g. ü = Ã¼

Any chance to set a translation table once, so no need for further manual repetetive work?

How to avoid escpaced unicode

Hi!

I am trying to make a solution where I use HF as input form, make a trigger which copies the input to another table where I can administer the input.
When copying the string array in wpR_hf_submissions my norwegian letters are unicode escaped. Like ‘?’ becomes ‘\u00e5’. I have not found an easy way to convert this escaped unicode. Is there a way to configure HF not to use escaped unicode?

Show Japanese and Chinese language characters

We want to print invoices in our basic language: English, but sometimes our customers write their address in Japanese or Chinese characters.
In Woocommerce we do see those characters, but when printing the invoice the characters show as squares.

We have the latest WP and WC versions, as well as the updated plugin for Invoices & Packing Slips.

So we don’t want to change the complete invoice to Chinese, but just displaying the Chinese or Japanese characters if customers provided these.
How can we do that?

Hi!

Excellent job on the plugin! Just one thing. Apparently the Danish characters ?????? does not move over from GF to IS proberly!? IS does support them when using an IS powered form and GF does support it as well. Can it be fixed? Where is the fault?

The SEO Ultimate is a genius plugin. However, I have noticed one problem which is very important to me. I realized that this plugin is not desplaying correctly auto-generated keywords with international characters like ?, ?, ?, ? and so on.

Is there any way to fix this problem?

International characters not displaying after upgrade to 3.0

I recently upgraded to 3.0 and in the process upgraded my DB to MySQL 5.0. After the upgrade I noticed that Korean characters I used in my posts weren’t displaying correctly, but showing up as “???”.

Here’s what I have checked:
– WordPress: Reading setting are set to “UTF-8”. I’ve also upgraded to 3.0.1 thinking it maybe a bug that they fixed.
– MySQL: The characters are displaying correctly when I check the posts through phpMyAdmin.

Any idea? Thanks.
