]]>At the moment, I am using the input field with a pre-filled country code +549 and I allow no more than 14 characters, but this is not ideal as there is no validation.
Thanks a lot!
]]>I am looking at moving back to Woocommerce with my online store, and i am currently testing what options are available to use.
I am having a hard time finding a solution to calculate duty and taxes in checkout based on HS tariff codes (customs codes) – this is because we sell food and non-food and the VAT and duty is very different from country to country. We use Shopify today and they have a solution for this – but like everything else on Shopify it’s high cost!
The alternatives i have found so far:
Woocommerce Tax – but it seems i cannot use this as i am located in Norway (Europe).
Easyship – This only calculates on a pre selected type of products (for example electronics)
Zonos – They have HS code support – but want almost 6400 USD for setup and 12 months subscription.
DHL Duty and Tax API – Can be used for any integration, but i can’t seem to find anything made ready for Woocommerce.
Do you have any suggestions of do’s and dont’s? Any experience?
Do you have a solution that works for your ecommerce store, selling internationally today with a live tax calculation service?
Please share
Thanks!
]]>I just noticed that you seem to have added some functionality to the phone field of the booking form.
Even though it says in your changelog that it needs to be activated via wp-config, it appears on all my clients’ sites that use the free version.
Not only does it look bad in most layouts, it also defaults to the US area code, which is not where 99.99% of customers will come from.
Also it bloats up the CSS files by a ton.
I tried deactivating this by reversing what the changelog said, i.e. adding
define(‘EM_PHONE_INTL_ENABLED’, false);
to wp-config, but that didn’t change anything.
How do I get rid of this?
It honestly is getting pretty tiresome to clean up after the layout changes you guys keep implementing. Think it would be possible to add further layout changes to an extension or something?
Thanks and best wishes,
Bastian
]]>We sell throughout europe and have set the tax so that the rates match the countries we sell to.
Now I want to have the tax on shipping set at our shop location so that the dutch tax rates are calculated for international shipments.
Is this possible, if so how? I’ve already tried with code and plugings searches but I’m getting completely stuck
