Hi, I’m trying to get my web page- www.equinestaff.co.uk to work on the windows internet explorer browser- it works on everything else but come out as a grey page on this one- HELP

Missing </p> Tag on Read More

Hello everyone,

Anyone experiencing invalid XHTML when using the read more? I get an error that is is missing a

tag on the end of it when using this one.

I thought it was only on my theme but it is in the default one as well. Any way to fix this?

Why do pages shift horizontally?

Even with pages using the same template, some pages shift a few pixels to the right (in FF and IE). Any ideas?

Invalid XHTML 1.1 Error for comments

Hi,

I am using WordPress 2.7.1

When ever i try to validate a page for XHTML 1.1, I get an error showing – end tag for element “li” which is not open.

This happens only for pages with comments. And i checked it for a few themes.

I am no php expert but after going through my theme files seems that wp_list_comments(‘type=comment&callback=custom_comments’) function writes the comments to the page, which is an internal wordpress function.

Has anyone else faced this problem? or am i doing something wrong?

Plugins That Cause Invalid XHTML

Are there certain plug-ins that will cause invalid XHTML errors? I’ve notice that WP-PageNavi seems to do so. Also, inserting Flickr images when in Windows Live Writer will do it. Any others?
