Hamburger Menu Not Working on iOS After WordPress 6.7 Update

The issue appeared after updating to WordPress version 6.7. Hamburger menus stopped functioning on iOS devices (tested on iPhone 7 using Chrome and Safari) for three of my websites with the following setup:

Theme: Twenty Twenty-Four, no customizations
No caching plugins

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any suggestions for a fix?

Hi there, this site is currently hosted at our domain for staging/testing. The Directory is returning 0 results on some queries from iOS devices. we have tested this on our end and confirmed the customers reporting to be accurate.

I have it set that the descriptions are searchable. Queries for Ontario(22 results), Netherlands(2 Results) and Israel(1 result), are showing there is 0 results when searching from a device with iOS.

Is there a know solution to this?

Hello We have problem to have pop up bar with app download at the bottom displayed on IOS Iphone.

On the smartphones and Android it works fine. But we’ve checked it on 4 different iphones and can’t get it to work. It just doesn’t show up.

Is there any solution for it?

Plugin not working with Safari on iOS 18

Hi,

we decided to use your plugin for our client’s podcast because it is easy to use and also looks great.

Now our customer has given us feedback that the player does not load on iPhone with iOS18 and the current Safari release. One of our employees was able to confirm the issue on his device. Other employees who use an older iOS version did not experience this error.

As I don’t own an iPhone myself, I can’t verify this, which is why my request is based solely on the reports of others.

Would it be possible for you to check the whole thing and give me any feedback?

Hello,

The “Pinterest Image Gallery” is showing blank on latests iOS mobile devices.
WordPress 6.6.2 and Elementor 3.24.4
Tested with iOS 16, 17 and 18 on Chrome and Safari.
Everything fine on old iOS and Android devices.

Any idea how to deal with it?

Video embeds (Vimeo or YouTube) do not appear on Safari

This page has a series of 12 video embeds that should appear after the heading “Videos on Fonts and Typefaces” near the bottom of the page. Every browser displays the videos fine except Safari which only shows the first video (iOS) or first two videos (macOS) followed by blank space where the other videos should appear. On first load the videos flash on the screen for a moment before disappearing.

I’m using WordPress 6.6.1, iOS 17.6.1, macOS Safari 17.6.

“Premiere” Bandcamp Embeds not showing on Safari

I’m going to try to explain this as best as possible. Please bear with me and do ask for clarification if needed:

We run a music news website where, on occasion, we will premiere a band’s full album before its release using a special embed code from Bandcamp.

This has worked in the past with no problems across multiple OS and browsers. However, now not so much. Some key notes:

– Sometime between the last one we did (Nov 2023) and today something has caused a change. Now we’ve found that, at least, on all browsers on iOS and iPadOS, and Safari specifically on MacOS, the embed does not work (it displays a common Bandcamp message “Sorry, this track or album is not available.”).

– The embed does work on Chromebook and Android devices, as well as Firefox and Chrome on MacOS, which indicates that the embed code as provided is A-OK. Additionally, previous “premiere”-style embeds from other services like Soundcloud are still functioning.

– Checking back on previous Premiere posts using the same type of embed code, they now display the same behaviors as listed above (even though those albums have now been released, the special embed code for premieres previously would still work regardless).

– “Regular” embeds from Bandcamp display and work A-OK (premiere embeds require the Bandcamp account holder to tick a few special boxes to allow hidden songs to be visible via the embed code, whereas anyone can embed fully-released and publicly available album).

Based on this evidence I’m guessing that this is kind of an “Apple” thing combined with Bandcamp’s special “Premiere” embed code’s functions, but I’m not tech-savvy enough to suss it any further, or to even begin to determine whether or not this is an issue that can be address on our end, or if it really is an “Apple” thing.

Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Chrome browser on iOS mobile devices cannot display the contents of a PDF file.

I can’t go back to previous versions (it stops working at all), so I’m talking about the latest version of the plugin. It works without a problem on computers and Android phones. Please check if the problem only occurs with me and please help me solve the problem.

OceanWP and iOS/Safari error

I manage a European project website that uses OceanWP as its theme. The WordPress instance is hosted at our institution on a server with many other projects also using WordPress and OceanWP. For over a eyar now, iOS and Safari users have been unable to load our website. Changing the theme solved the problem but would also require a substantial rebuild of the website. We can’t be the only OceanWP using website with iOS visitors so there must be a solution htere that doesn’t involve rebuilding our site. I’m hoping you can help me find it!

Steps to reproduce:

Go to our project website https://ceec-coe.eu/. Our test user did this through a google search.
You see the website for a split second and then get the error: “Diese Webseite wurde neu geladen, weil ein Problem aufgetreten is” This website has been reloaded because a problem occurred
After a short period the error changes to: “Auf https://ceec-coe.eu/” ist wiederholt ein Problem aufgetreten.” A problem has repeatedly occurred on https://ceec-coe.eu/”.

Any ideas? Has anyone else encountered this or a similar problem?

Difference lightbox Windows and IOS

On windows 11 everything works fine. I just klik de link (pdf) and the document is visible in a box and “X” for closing it. On my ipad it works different. When I click the link a box is visible with the name of the link again. The “X” is visble. When I click the link in the box the pdf is opened but no “X” to close it and the user has to hit the “go back” button in the browser. This is not very user friendly. What can I do to solve this problem?
