My blog won't work with any apps other than wordpress app

I am trying to write my blog on my ipad (ios 7) and it is not working with any apps other than the official wordpress app. I have limited experience with coding, and the official app requires that you add code for simple things like centering text. I know that I can login to my dashboard through the web browser, but that’s not the best experience on the ipad and I don’t like logging into accounts when I’m on public wifi.

I downloaded BlogPad Pro for ipad. I was able to get the blog connected, but my posts won’t download and I can’t upload anything. I get messages saying that the “blog is unreachable” and that the session has timed out”. I went into the blogpad settings and increased the timeout time from 15 seconds to the max of 30. Then I hit sync again and get the same message.

So, I downloaded Posts and I get timeout messages with that app too. I contacted support for Blogpad and they gave me a series of suggestions, all concerning tweaks in the app. I also contacted my web host, DreamHost, and they made sure that everything was technically fine with my blog. I can log into my blog and post, so I know that it’s working.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Can you tell me what I need to fix or at least point me in the right direction?

WordPress app doesn't recognize my URL

I just updated the site to 3.8, then downloaded the app on my iPad. When trying to log in to the app, it tells me it’s “Unable to find a WordPress site at that URL.” I’ve entered the site in with and without the https://, with and without the www., and nothing seems to be working. All information is correct, yet NOTHING is working. Please help. I run the website for our church and need to be able to access it from my iPad.

I recently began a new WP site with Go Daddy. I then forwarded my old url to the new address. It was a wordpress.com site originally.

Now when I use my iPad WP App to make a post it sends the post as the old wordpress website. All of the settings within the app appear to be correct. Is there some type of cache within the app that needs to be reset?

Anyone have trouble loading their blog profile on their iPad app? I have the app on both my iPhone and iPad. I successfully loaded my blog onto my iPhone and see all my info – comments, posts, stats etc. When I try to load the blog profile on my ipad app I keep getting the error that “Unable to find a WordPress site at that URL.”
I’m using the exact same URL as on my iphone. In fact I only have 1 blog, so only 1 URL. I have checked and double checked that I types it correctly. It’s entered exactly right.

IPad – not usable for creating and editing posts

There are numerous problems using the iPad to create or edit posts in the web app. Can’t even edit in view mode. The scroll boxes such as categories do not scroll. Perhaps these are Safari problems but they translate into wP problems – i.e. You can’t blog from the iPad with the browser. The iPad app is ok but not full function. Does’t appear to have wysiwyg. With 2 million iPads out there seems WP should be easy to use on them.
