regardless, this is a recent issue and the bigger deal is that the log file only goes back to February 17 of 2023, so its like two months back only and its this size. for the love of god please help, how can I clean it and make sure the size is not this large
]]>What is the proper procedure to safely and completely uninstall the iThemes Security plugin?
And when it’s finished, will it have cleaned up it’s traces in the database plus the htaccess file?
Many thanks,
Mike.
P.S. I did search for the procedure, but I failed to find it.
Again, great plugin.
Is their any way you can add a feature (settings option) to your plugin to automate the deletion of ITSec logs?
For example, add a settings option that states:
“Delete Logs Automatically: Yes (checkbox) | No (checkbox)”
If Yes is selected, a new box appears stating:
“Every ( D ) Day(s)”, where “D” is a numerical value (1 or greater)
Thanks for your consideration!
]]>As reported here and other sites, many are wondering where can you find the changelog for iThemes Security and iThemes Security Pro.
Since iTheme Security’s developers are not providing ANY type of support in this forum and only minimal Pro support, thought I would help a little. Here’s the answer:
* iThemes Security Changelog: Click here
* iThemes Security Pro Changelog: Request a copy via their Contact Page or, if you’re a paid subscriber, login into your account then proceed to the following URL: https://members.ithemes.com/packages/ithemes-security-pro/changelog.txt
Cheers!

]]>I am using Salient wordpress theme with list of plugins like iThemes Security, all 404 to homepage and w3 total cache etc.I have recently moved my server to another godaddy hosting after that whenever i tried to log into my account using wp-login.php, the admin bar always show on top but unable to get into the dashboard or any admin page.
Please help me its very urgent.
]]>Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/a2pnexwpnas02_data01/39/3202439/html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/class-itsec-lib.php on line 235
When I disable and delete the plugin, the error still remains (even though I flushed the cache for WP, my web browsers (chrome and firefox on desktop and mobile) and the shared WP hosting server).
When I type in the URL and append /?=nocache=1 it loads the site properly and redirects it to the https:// version. This leads me to believe it is a caching issue related to the plugin but I can’t figure out what is causing the error (although I am losing traffic that is trying to access the www. URL version of the site).
Please advise how to proceed.
Thank you!
