JQuery inside post?

The new theme I’m working with has a static front page that I can set to feature my latest post OR content from another page, but not both.

So I am building a page to put the content I want to be featured. For example, I have three client testimonials with a link to more on their own page. Beneath this I would like to feature the image and snippet from my latest blog post.

Is there a jquery or some other widget that I can use to capture whatever my latest blog post is and put the teaser into this feature page content I’m creating?

Load More Very Spotty Pushing Images Together

Problogg theme and every since install the image thumbnails on home screen are loading 70% of time and when I press Load More it works 60% of time perfectly.

Sometimes not showing images or crushing thumbsnails and text

I know that I can only put 6 on my feed or they won’t work properly but still doesn’t work quite right..

I am assuming its something to do with jquery but my coding skills don’t reach that far yet

where can I start?

Recently switched themes and have encountered a couple problems that might be related…

About half of my older posts are not showing up anywhere on the blog, even when I look for them in the categories. I can see them on the dashboard and everything looks like normal but they are not loading at all.

I went into reader and adjusted how many posts can be viewed and no difference.

The second issue is the load more button at the bottom starts to load and then I’m presented with an error ” congratulations you’ve reached the last page on the Internet“… I know the meme but can’t see how it’s relevant. Nothing loads.

Any ideas?

edit page doesn't complete load .. stops at jquery

Using Thrive Theme, Ignition, all works great until going to edit page. Neither the wp edit page, nor the thrive theme edit page will load. I’ve tried 3 different browsers, plugged the computer directly to the broadband modem, cleaned cashe, run scans. The same results with loading the edit page…it gets to j.query and quits.

has anyone else had this problem? I don’t know if it’s a computer problem, a wp problem or a theme problem.

Slider/Header action not loading

Installed the theme fresh from repository
Uploaded several header images with proper size
Set featured posts in featured category with images within the body

However the j-query seems not to load neither header image nor the slider
in WP v.3.8.1.What to do next?

Mountain Creek not being responsive

I’m using the Mountain Creek theme by Gorilla themes for my site. The dropdown menu when viewed on a mobile site isn’t dropping down. Apparently I’m not the only one who is having this problem (https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/theme-reviews/mountain-creek). The code looks exactly the same as the demo site’s version and I haven’t changed any of it. Anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Images not stacking

Hi, I’ve installed the latest version of your plugin, unchecked the crop thumbnails box in Media Settings and also regenerated the thumbnails, but my images are not stacking as I expected. Here’s a blog post that uses a 3 column WordPress gallery.

A couple more points:
– Checking the box next to “DO NOT allow Masonry to layout your gallery columns?” created more space between the thumbs but they still do not stack.
– I have the Lightbox Gallery plugin installed, but deactivating it did not make any difference.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Shuttershot theme make images fade slower js/j-query?

Hi guys,

I want to make my background images in the shuttershot theme fade slower. They now fade about every 4 seconds, and that’s just a little too fast for my taste. I want them to stay put for about 10 seconds before fading to the next.

I know I have to change something in the supersized.3.1.3.min.js script, but i’m not sure what to change exactly. Can someone help me out?
