I went into the comments.php file in my theme and added the following code underneath where it says “You must be logged in to post a comment”. The icons show up, however, nothing happens when I click on them? Anyone have an idea why? I looked at the code using firebug, and the code looks exactly the same as the demo page.

I got this error message when I turned on SimpleModal Janrain Engage. Not sure if it is a critical error or bug. I had debug mode on.

Anyone know a if this is a problem or know of a fix.

I would like to disable Janrain Engage on a specific page ID. I have installed a forum (simple press) which has login functionality already.. so I have two login sections showing up on those pages.

Ive found some different info on disabling plugins through conditional tags or even css, but just cant seem to figure it out.

I have not had the chance to deactivate all my plugins and go through one by one to see which is conflicting, but if anyone knows offhand what could be causing this, I would be grateful.

Just so you know, the Janrain Engage widget will not work if you have the Bad Behavior plugin activated. It took me a couple hours to figure out that this was the culprit.

Hello All,

We are in search of having openID integrated with WP 3.0.4 for achieving that we tried Janrain Engage ..but doesnt work on all network sites even if we do network activate …

later we came across social connect…we installed it we could not see any of the icons of the OpenID provider (we could see that the icons were missing)

we had to edit its ui.php to get the icons in place and it was then visible on all network sites but on clicking icon nothing happens.

Please anyone can help us or guide us to integrate OpenID on WP 3.0.4

Janrain Engage Alternative

I am just looking at alternatives while thinking through our site design. We are trying to make it as easy as possible for visitors to post comments (without causing a spam problem of course).

I have been looking closely at janrain engage, and the plug-in is beyond our capabilities to install correctly (and make it look slick on our site). So one option is to hire a pro.

Are there simplier alternatives we should consider? The only sign-ins we are really set on are Facebook, Twitter, and OpenID…
