I don’t know what the problem is, as I use Jetpack on other sites with the same web host and same configuration with no problems, but it will not work properly on my blog on my classified site.
What is very strange is that there is no problem on any other pages, but on the blog, it will not load the like button (just sits there saying it’s loading) and the other buttons do not load or function correctly.
I’ve taken all the other plugins off and reloaded them one at a time. One plugin that I’ve used elsewhere (sharexy), was causing the site to crash instead of loading. From time to time I would get an error notice that a script on the page was causing the blog to take too long to load (in Chrome). When I dumped the Sharexy plugin, the blog loaded just fine, except that Jetpack still would not work when I reinstalled it.
If anyone can give me any hints, perhaps having had the same problem and figured out a fix, I would be very happy to know about it.
Again, every other page on the site is working fine. Only the blog has problems, and without Sharexy or Jetpack, it seems to work fine.
Thanks for reading.

]]>Yesterday, after upgrading my Jetpack to 2.4.2, I was was putting my Twitter widget into the Showcase sidebar, just to see how it affected the look, and Jetpack just disappeared, along with my Facebook,Soundcloud, Photo Carousel and Twitter widgets.
There is no sign of Jetpack. How do I get it back?

]]>I only noticed about 48 hours later that Jetpack had spontaneously uninstalled itself. This meant no stats, and also no posts being emailed to comment subscribers.
Upon reinstallation and connecting to wordpress.com in order to use Jetpack features, the theme of the site breaks. Images overlap columns and becomes unusable. The moment jetpack is either deactivated (via plugin page) or disconnected from wordpress, the site returns to working layout.
Any solutions?
Cheers :).
