Does the plugin really require the JetPack Plugin?

Looking at other plugins like WooCommerce payments, this plugin should follow suite and do the same thing. EVERY module is turned off and this plugin is unnecessary. However, even with all modules off, it’s still causing issues. So please do that.

Jetpack Auto share not connecting to social media

Though this error have been happening to my other sites. I ignored it and uninstall jetpack plugin on those sites. On my new site, I ensure no plugins was installed except jetpack. But to my surprise to get this error when connecting social media share system..

500 status code for “POST /sites/201518410/publicize-connections/new”

I’d like to fix this now

When I tried troubleshooting jetpack says my XML-RPC is not connecting, that i should try it. I was ask to check my domain (eg: yourdomain.com/xmlrpc.php) to see for my self but when i tried it.. it gives me

XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

So what’s the honest problem. and how can i solve this issue once..

Jetpack & Forminator are in conflict

Hi,

Just installed this plugin to see if it was a good replacement for contact form 7. Unfortunately the site goes down every time I activate forminator. Which is a pity. After enabling and deactivating all plugins, it seems to bring my site down with Jetpack and forminator both on. Is this a common problem or any tips how I can resolve this, I think the look and feel is a lot better than contact form 7 but I can’t get it working. Thanks in advance for the help.

site cannot be accessed and now deleted

I was in the middle of adding plugins when i got the red error message “site cannot be accessed.” I went to the forums and tried to delete cookies and login from another browser. These did not work. I attempted to deactivate Jetpack but it wouldn’t allow me any access whatsoever to plugins. Now when I go to wordpress.com my site is completely gone. If I click on “my site” it says “create site”. At the same time I received the following message from Jetpack in my email:

Good news — your site is back up!

Your total downtime was 4 weeks, but your site was up again as of Thursday, December 3, 12:26 am.

If it goes down again at some point (we hope it doesn’t!), we’ll be in touch.

My website twobearfarm.com has always had a jetpack plugin. A few days ago the plug in disappeared. When I try to add it again it says that the download failed because it already exist. Not savvy with blogs and such. But after returning to my site to update and begin blogging again I’m getting this message. Cannot access site at all.

plugin issues

We have five news sites running WP. For the last weeks we have been experiencing plugin issues, mainly Jetpack. We are not able to download plugins in our site now. We tried installing, but installation failed. We got the message like this : Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wordpress-seo.1.5.4.2.zip…

Destination folder already exists. /home/ecolead/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/
Plugin install failed.

Also, we are not able to view the WP text editor properly. We can type the headline, but when we type the content, it does not show, so we blindly copy paste and publish it. However, if we select the content using Ctrl A option, we can see it highlighted. The content appears proper in the front. We are also not able to open any category page. nothing is displayed in the page, however, we can open individual stories from the links in the home page.

Please help us solve these issues..

Hello, I’ve started a new custom theme, and for some reason my jetpack isn’t working. There’s a link that says Connect to wordpress.com, but every time I try to login it doesn’t allow me to do so. I can login to my wordpress just fine, but it doesn’t want to login for the jetpack.

What am I doing wrong, and how can this be resolved?

Post preview issue, theme preview issue, all address url involved?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been playing with my wordpress for a while now and since nothing seems to be working the way I would want it to, I’ve decided to ask you… I tried to find someone having the same issues than me but, unfortunately, there was always something different about the situation I meet, showed in these discussions.

Since I made these changes, after I purchased the .com url, I can’t see the Post previews or the Theme previews. Also, Jetpack is not working… since everytime I try to connect my Facebook or Twitter account through Publicize, the redirections always end up showing a blank page.

I’m pretty sure all the issues I meet are caused by the change in url. But I would like to know what I could do to make everything work. It’s really an issue not to be able to create photo galleries, because the plugins won’t work, or not being able to connect my social networks accounts to my Blog…

I was thinking I could maybe put the WordPress URL in the Site Address URL but I’m afraid it would block me from getting back to the dashboard. Would it?

Thanks for any answer. After hours and hours, I can’t get around this issue.

Jetpack Disabling Site When Activated

Hello,

I recently moved from WordPress.com to www.ads-software.com and am struggling to get my site up and running. I have reverted to working on my WordPress.com one as Jetpack Plugin disables new site once it is activated. What happens is the screen goes blank except for my site header and I cannot access my Dashboard. My hosting company has had to get me back in each time. I need Jetpack and all its utilities.I cannot do a site re-direct until it is successfully activated. My hosting company are of no help and tell me it is a www.ads-software.com issue, not theirs. Do I give up and forget about my new site?

I am using Weaver II Theme and site is trulyteachmetarot.com . Jetpack is currently deactivated.

Has anyone any solutions? Just to let you know, I have limited knowledge of the technical language involved.
