Forgive me if this is the wrong forum, but I couldn’t find a specific forum for the new WordPress theme (on wordpress.com only at the moment).
I’ve installed the theme on WordPress multisite, but it throws this error when I enable the theme:
mywebsite.com/html/wp-content/themes/shoreditch-wpcom/inc/jetpack.php on line 129
Any idea on what might me causing this? I have Jetpack installed on WPMU and no issues with the default 2016 theme.
Thanks!
]]>After updating the theme Zerif-lite it didn’t quite work well, so I decided to fall-back to the backup (files & DB) I made just before updating.
I erased everything and after uploading all the files, and importing the Database I get this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /domains/mydomain.nl/DEFAULT/wp-content/themes/zerif-lite/inc/jetpack.php on line 1
On the root as well as on /wp-login.php. So I’m stuck.
If you have a solution that addresses the problem, that would be most welcomed. Thank you in advance.
Regards, Thomas.

It appears that Jetpack is gone? What is this?

FTP actually lacks the file “class.jetpack-network.php” but the code “jetpack.php” requires it.
I post the code of the entire file with the error:

]]>I have a 3rd site on the same server that uses PHP and it works fine — it’s just the WP sites.
The server log is showing “No such file or directory in /home2/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 4413”
Line 4413 of jetpack.php is:
require_once dirname( __FILE__ ) . ‘/class.jetpack-user-agent.php’;
Any clue what’s wrong?
