Kinetic Posts Issue

First of all, I really like what you’ve done with your blocks, have implemented several, and are in the process of replacing other blocks with yours.

On to my issue… As you can see from the page I listed, the block is only displaying 2 columns. I have set the block up to display 3. If I change it to display 4 it shows 3 but still has the empty spot on the right.

Any help you can give on this would be appreciated.

kinetic posts issue with excerpt

Hi,

I am using your kinetic post block (which is great), but I do have the following effect:
when adding an excerpt to a post which is listed in your block then, this is displayed correctly when editing the site with your block, but when opening the page with your block outside (makes no difference if I am logged in or not), it is displaying the auto generated excerpt out of the posts text.

Override Kinetic Posts thumbnail image

Just wondering how we go about overriding the thumbnail image shown when Kinetic Posts outputs as grid/list etc?

At the moment the Feature Image set on the Post is used which is generally OK, however, if the feature image is chosen (and formatted) specifically to be used as the pagebanner (using Gutenbooster theme) background image (ie wide but not tall … perfect for a standard page/post where the page banner is not so dominant), then when using Kinetic Posts, it uses that same image which then looks not so good when output along with other “normal” square feature images on other posts.

Maybe the answer is to give the option to use a custom image for the page/post banner area instead of the Feature Image in this situation? What is the best way to do this do you think? Add a media select field option in GutenBooster Addons page options panel?

Feature: Please add Tags output to Kinetic Posts

Hey Onur @sj_o

Was looking to extend your Kinetic Posts block with the ability to output Tags in a similar way as you already output the Categories, however when I poked around in the plugin, couldn’t locate the correct place (new at Guttenberg development)!

Any chance you could add that ability?

I’d love to be able to show (or hide) Tags as well as have a few locations where they can be output ie above Title, after Excerpt etc.

Do you have a Github repo? Might be able to assist (in my limited way)

Hi there … wondering how to make the Kinetic Posts pull the actual post excerpt rather than just truncating the post content to a certain number of characters? We have excerpts for all posts but they seem to be ignored.
