Enfold (Child) theme gives fatal error

Someone has contacted me regarding a fatal error from her WordPress page.

Site details:
WordPress version 6.2.2
Active theme: Enfold Child (version 1.0)
Current plugin: (version )
PHP version 8.1.18

Error message:
An E_COMPILE_ERROR error was caused on line number 219 of the file /var/www/vhosts/plukdedagtuinen.nl/webspace/httpdocs/plukdedagtuinen.nl-wordpress/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions-enfold.php. Error message: Unparenthesized a ? b : c ? d : e is not supported. Use either (a ? b : c) ? d : e or a ? b : (c ? d : e)

I’ve searched for the relevant line in the .php file but can’t find anything similar. Deactivating the plug-ins also has no effect. Restoring backups from before the problem also does not work.

Unfortunately, the developer Kriesi.at is not approachable. Who might be able to help?

Ad backgound image to seperate pages Display theme

Hello
I have a 2010 theme by Kriesi called Display. I am creating a separate section of the site with its own page and content and I want a separate background image. With out installing a plug-in.
I created a new page template by just copying my home page template and changing the name.
I have styled the site mostly on my own the person I hired did a terrible job and left it a mess. Had I known I would have installed a new theme. This theme seems overly complex compared to others I’ve worked with.
I can not get code to work for me that will allow me to do what I want.

WordPress and Enfold (by Kriesi) theme updates crashed my site

Hi Guys,

I’ve been trying to update my site tonight and have had a bit of a disaster. My site is hosted on Go Daddy, i use wordpress and my theme is “enfold” by Kriesi. I update to the recommended newest version of wordpress and updated to the newest version of enfold and now my site has disappeared. When you go to my URL https://www.illorem.com, you get the following

I called Go Daddy but said I need to speak to someone at wordpress to sort this. Can someone please help?! I really need to get my site back up and running and I’m not experienced with such matters

Hello, our featured posts are no longer showing/loading thumbnails. We work with the Choices them by kriesi. Does any know how we can fix this? We’ve tried emptying cache and resetting permissions, nothing seems to work.

Hello,
Do anyone use one of those templates for his website.
I would be glad to hear some comments on those templates, or see somme websites examples.

Also i have questions, do you know if :
– we can have pages (homepage and others) with pictures in fullscreen – Can we use differents backgrounds images for each pages (and not 1 background image for all the website) – Is there a zoom system for the products’pictures?

And for flashlight, is there a possibility to move the sidebar on the bottom, like a classical menu bar ?

I am using “Display” theme purchased at themeforrest.com
Can someone please help me figure out how to get this fixed. There should be a slider image there.
