tab name error

hello there, my problem is that since few days ago i have noticed that the name in the browser’s tab stay always the same, it says ‘Header’, no matter which page of my blog the browser is displaying, the tab’s name always stay the same.
It was not like this, but probably tweaking the theme i have modified something.
any help?

ps, i use WP 2.9.2 / Kubrick Theme

hi,

i am having trouble with the background picture kubrickbg-ltr.png showing up above the header picture and beneath the footer picture. i want rounded edges so i can’t just change the header height or footer height in the style.css.this doesn’t work.

Home Page: using index.php instead of home.php

I’m currently in the process of creating my clients homepage. I’m basing it on the Kubrick theme and tweaking it a bit to suit my clients’ needs. Got the header and footer looking really good but now I want to include a home.php file I created and uploaded it but instead it displays index.php content. Isn’t home.php the first file WP looks for and then index.php? That’s normally the case. But this time around I’m on Network Solutions for hosting so maybe things work differently there?

Hi guys, i have recently installed wordpress, and Im now editing the template abit and personalizing the kubrick theme template. And now i have a problem, when i add a sidebar to the Comment & archive page i get this problem that the whole sidebar dosent show. Can some one help fix the problem?

editing the background color in the header and footer of the Kubrick theme

Since I am using a transparent .png in the header what I need to do is to figure out how to eliminate the background-color for the header and the footer in the Kubrick theme. i.e. www.movethefence.com I need to know where its coming from and how to delete it!

Kubrick Header Redesign (project)

Hi All,

First post. Humour me.

I’ve been hired to build a website for a local arts council. And I’ve chosen to use wordpress. I’m beginning with design stuff, and I’m just going to make a few tweaks to the Kubrick template, because this already does most everything I need.

I’m starting to get my hands dirty with php and slowly learning the ins and outs of this theme.

So here’s my project:

I want to redesign the Kubrick header to look something like the header on this website: https://www.magical-secrets.com/

This is not my website, I just like the design of this site.

So what I see that needs to be done, is there needs to be space created above the header (margins?), and a horizontal nav bar that lists pages needs to be inserted there.

Can anyone help me out with this project?

My site is not live yet so I can’t provide a url, but since I’m customizing the Kubrick theme we can all work from the same page right?

Tremendous tahnks to anyone who wants to help me tackle this.

disappearing code?

I’ve came across a problem recently with code disappearing. I will change the “page” image link (Kubrick theme) in WP, save it out, only to find out the old image is still up and running live on the site.

I checked the CSS style sheet several times looking for the image link and nothing comes up in WP. It is the weirdest thing. I even used Firebug on the live site to see what was going on. It showed me a line of code that didn’t even exists in my WP CSS. I feel like I’m going crazy.

Any ideas?
