The response was: “That is not currently an option, sorry.”
As responsive mode is more important than desktop nowadays, I am surprised that this option still is not implemented.
]]>Great plugin! Thank you for your solution!
Actually, I wondered, if it is possible to allow the landscape mode on tablets.
Is there a possiblity to change the setting in that way, that this plugin works only for mobile phone?
Thank you!

portrait orientation ?
I tried to change the numbers in menu breakpoint, but cant get it to work
thanks for any help
]]>I do not currently have MMM enabled because of this issue. I would need to enable MMM for it to be experienced. My theme’s default menu is being used. I can enable MMM so the issue can be experienced, but I do not want to leave it on indefinitely because the issue affects the user experience. I have only tried Safari on my iPad.
The MMM menu works great in every situation except the one listed in the topic title. On a tablet (in this case, my iPad) in landscape mode.
I have no issues at all with it on a laptop. I have it set to hover. The child items descend from the parent without issue.
The mobile menu works correctly on a phone as well, and the mobile menu is obviously enabled when viewing my page on an iPad in a portrait (vertical) configuration. That works correctly as well.
However, when I hold my iPad in landscape mode, the non-mobile menu appears to be used. This doesn’t seem to matter on the menu items that do not have child items. I can click the item on the menu, and it sends me to the proper page However, when I touch a menu item that has child items, the menu expands as it should to reveal the second level pages. But, the child items that appear are not clickable. Try as I might, they just don’t seem to be clickable. They appear, but can’t be clicked.
I tried changing the Event in the MMM settings from ‘Hover’ to both ‘Click’ and ‘Hover Intent’, and neither seemed to fix the issue. I have cleared my cache several times.

I am having problems with the theme when accessing links (or possibly simply clicking/tapping on the page) on tablets in landscape mode specifically between width 1024px and width 640px (or min-width: 40.063em and 64.063em as the theme refers to it). The links are not clickable/followable with the following errors on inspection in chrome (as borne out on tablets/iPads):
[Intervention] Unable to preventDefault inside passive event listener due to target being treated as passive. See https://www.chromestatus.com/features/5093566007214080
this is pointing to:
if(!rxTouchIgnoreTags.test(currentElement.tagName)) {
e.preventDefault();
}
in file:
https://www.hoyorkney.com/wp-content/themes/harmonic/js/skrollr.js?ver=`20141207
This error appears to happen for any click on the page.
As a comparison the same in portrait mode is fine and gives:
Resource interpreted as Document but transferred with MIME type application/pdf: “https://www.hoyorkney.com/?ddownload=4168”.
this is pointing to:
//It was a tap, click the element.
var clickEvent = document.createEvent('MouseEvents');
clickEvent.initMouseEvent('click', true, true, e.view, 1, touch.screenX, touch.screenY, touch.clientX, touch.clientY, e.ctrlKey, e.altKey, e.shiftKey, e.metaKey, 0, null);
initialElement.dispatchEvent(clickEvent);
}

The problem can be seen in other browser inspectors as well (always refreshing after resizing viewport)
Disabling plugins doesn’t solve the problem.
Changing the theme to Twenty Seventeen removes the problem.
It only seems to happen for some of the links on the page (possibly the first one?) as can be seen here
The site in question is www.hoyorkney.com
Bye-for-now and hope you can help,

When viewed on a tablet in landscape mode, in which the main menu remains visible, the submenus do not work properly. One can view them but when you try to click on anything either nothing happens at all or it’s as if you are hitting the right-click button.
I am viewing my site on a Kindle Fire, and in Chrome’s Developer Tools simulation via my laptop.
I have not modified the menu code except to change the color of the font for the active page and hover.
If I cannot fix this, it is days and days of work down the toilet and I’ll have to start all over again.
