I just bought Jetpack Vault Backup.

I’m running a large WordPress installation (60GB), and the first initial backup took 8 days (!)

This is way for than the limit of 10GB, and I will need to upgrade storage to resume making backups.

My questions are:

• If I purchase more space and Jetpack Vault Backup to create full backups every day, it wont even have time to complete the backup (as it takes 8 days to finish a full backup) – what happens then?
• Does Real Time backup still works (regardless)? Does it keep track of every edit i make to the website, and can restore the website to any moment in time (when I click “Restore to this point”)? Lets say I install a plugin – can i restore the website to just before the installation? And how long will it take to restore the website to that point (8 days or instantly?).
• Does full backups and/or real time backups take any processing power from my server (does it slow down my website)?

The only issue I have is that we have 100+ categories, with a few hundres pdfs.

It is really difficult to sort through the categories list in the admin area of bsk pro. I would love to be able to search for a category by keyword. Right now it is super difficult for my editors to find their category quickly. The only for them to view the pdfs in their category, they have to click the PDFs count number in the right column on the category list page. But they have to sort through dozens of categories to find theirs. I definitely think a search bar is imperative for larger websites. Right now it is pretty cumbersome. Is this something you can implement in future releases?

Also, we cannot hide sub categories. So if we have 30 sub categories of one main category, it would be helpful to only be able to show top level categories in this list.

is it possible to get a one day demo of your premium version, so that we can import the 6,7 GB file from our customer’s website? We already tried a lot of backup plugins, but we could not eben make a backup with the others without getting an error.

With your plugin we can make a backup, but we can not test, if we are able to restore it without any errors on our local server e.g.

Is there a chance to get a short-time demo of your premium plugin?

I usually do a zip extraction for the installation, but for a specific website, I wanted to do a manual extraction (because the host didn’t had installed the ZipArchive or Shell Exec). I did the extraction but I’m always having the same error without going to “Step 1” (and have the option to choose a manual installation):

“Setup Notice:
An error has occurred. In order to load the full installer please resolve the issue below.

NOTICE: ZipArchive and Shell Exec are not enabled on this server please talk to your host or server admin about enabling ZipArchive or Shell Exec on this server or manually extract archive then choose Advanced > Manual Extract in installer.

…”

I checked the FAQ’s and I think I’m missing nothing…

It is compatible with all my plugins, & is easy to customise. I am not a super user who knows how to code, but with the help of Hueman my website looks decent.

I have a very large number of post on my wordpress installation. More than 3,00,000 Posts are published. Most of the post i publish via cron job. Just few lines per post.

Problem is when i go beyond 3 lack, the cron jobs becomes very very slow. I have a dedicated server. I also tried this in local host. Installed on different browser. As per the developer (he is fresher), mysql is not capable of handling more pages per installation.

Fresh wordpress installation works very fast.

Any alternative?

I have tried to delete posts on a test site leaving around 500 and then the plugin works fine. Tried to increase the memory limits with no luck.

I can make a static page with links to my subcategories so without loading any product.
