Lazy Gallery Plugin error

I enabled the lazy gallery plug in and immerdiately got the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare showgallery() (previously declared in /home2/bradspa/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/lazy-gallery.php:58) in /home2/bradspa/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/lazyest-gallery.php on line 57

I am now not able to even get to the root of my site to fix it. Can anyone offer some advice?

Trouble with directory in Lazy-Gallery plugin

I’m having a problem with the Lazy-gallery plugin. When I try to direct the plugin to the correct folders to retrieve images, the plugin automatically heads whatever directory I enter with “/var/www/”. My wordpress site is on my university’s server, xenon.truman.edu, and that server handles all students websites, in the directory home/student/. Because the server has its own website, which is located in /var/www/, the plugin automatically detects that as the web directory. The function which users edit is:

$gallery_address = ‘images/photos’;

There is another function, $gallery_root, which automatically gets the web directory (the wrong one, in this case) and adds $gallery_address to the end, creating the full directory. Is there any way I can change the code or anything to direct to MY directory? If it helps, my directory is /home/student/ptm134/public_html/ and the page showing the error is at https://www2.truman.edu/~ptm134/lazy-index.php .

I pretty new to this whole thing so this may be a stupid mistake on my part. I installed the Lazy Gallery plugin and everything seemed to install ok. I was able to activate it, however none of the images I put in the folder are showing up? They are online.

https://www.devisser.ca/blog/lazy-index.php show the pages but no pictures show up. I pointed lazy-gallery.php to the correct folder. I put the pictures in the folder https://www.devisser.ca/blog/gall and they are there when I type it in. https://www.devisser.ca/blog/gall/IMG_0492.jpg

Why aren’t they showing up?

New plugin — Lazy Gallery

I hacked on the original Lazy Gallery plugin and ended up with a really good embeded gallery. This version uses a custom page template called *gallery* that you put in your themes folder and you just edit the main lazy-gallery-plus.php as usual.

All I did was cut out the need for a outside URL that can be a bummer to add into a sidebar or link list.

My problem is that the sidebar does not show at the right position as on the main site:

Can someone help me fint the solution?

I am sure that there is an answer here in the archives, but I have searched and not found any answer. My challenge is two fold: a) I have very little understanding of what I am doing and b) I have very little time to gain the understanding.

I have been trying to install two plug ins: weather and lazy gallery.

Both times I try to pull up the index pages for the plug ins, I get similar “no such file or directory” error messages:

Lazygallery, Connections and 1.5.1.2

I have been using Lazygallery and a severely hacked theme with 1.5 for some time on my own site – and it works fine.

However, I have just set up another site using the Connections theme with 1.5.1.2 and the css for the whole site is going totally out the window. After having spent two days trying to work it out and reading through all the relevant text, I gave up and tried to SPG, but the same happens – the css is left out of the equation once the gallery is opened.

I am losing too much hair now so I am asking if anyone has had the same problems or feels like taking a look?
