Hello,
I am currently using the SportsPress plugin to add historical data to a Sim Racing League that I run, with the hopes of using it in future Seasons. I've been able to work through most of the issues I'm encountering but I haven't been able to get through these few.
Box Score and Results Sort/Ordering:
When Setting up an Event, I'm unable to sort the results by Outcome (or any column for that matter). The default seems to always be alphabetically by Team/Player. Is there a setting I'm missing here? It seems that the Box Score is ordered the same way by default (but it can be sorted by clicking the column header), but my priority would be to fix the Results order. Furthermore, is there a way to sort on two values for Tables? (If primary values are tied, then sort on next value)
Entering Race Time and Having it Carry Over:
Currently I have a Player Performance Value called Race Time, that is set to Category All, Format: Time. Is there a way to add decimals so that it displays exact race time? When Entered, the value strips the decimal points upon updating.
Next I have a Result Field that is called "Round Race Time" with an equation equal to Race Time (The Player Performance Value). If I let it Auto Populate, somehow the value gets converted from Time format to a number. If I input it directly, it stays as entered.
So for example, a Race Time equal to 2:04.123 gets converted upon update to 2:04 (without decimal). Then when the Result is calculated, 2:04 gets converted to 124.000 for the event result. (number of seconds).
League Table/Player Stat Totals:
Finally, For this League, the total amount of time across races is a tie breaker metric. I have a Table Column and a Player Statistic that is set to "Round Race Time" with the assumption that if I have multiple events with the value recorded, it would simply add the values, like it does for Points. However this somehow coverts a time such as 02:03.671 to 2.000 (which is not even the amount of seconds - but minutes instead). In the case of the 124.000, that gets added properly, but again it is just number of seconds, and not in time format.
Is there any thing that can be done to fix this? Let me know if I should break this up into separate entries.
Thanks!
Kevin
]]>Hello!
I have the following problem: When creating a league table and adding the clubs, tournament and season, all matches assigned to that competition add up the statistics correctly.
The problem arises when that competition has a group phase and a playoff phase, since by associating the Tournament and its matches with that competition, it also adds them to the League Table created previously, leaving the teams that went to the second phase, with more games. played and more points.
Please, help me.
Does anyone know how we can display a league table on a master site on to other sites?
It perhaps would be a nice feature request to be able to add a plugin into another website, to then be able to select League Table and perhaps other data like team members, fixtures and results to display on that site drawing data from the master site.
]]>I created a new column in SportsPress > Configure > Table Columns (see screenshot https://share.cleanshot.com/70k4zlVz ) But when I try to add the Minus column in the final Points formula, I can’t find it (see screenshot https://share.cleanshot.com/LJjcgpKN ).
Is there any option to populate the Minus column to make it available for calculation?
Btw, I know about the Adjustment tab on the League Table, but it won’t work in my case.
Best Regards!

I have a problem where I can’t get any further.
I’m trying to update the league table with REST API.
I use python for that.
I manage to update data like date or status but it doesn’t work to change the data of the table (data).
example that work:
import requests
import json
import pprint
username = 'xxx'
password = 'xxx'
api_url = "https://www.xxx.xx/wp-json/sportspress/v2/tables/5591"
headers = {'content-type': 'application/json'}
data = {'status': 'publish'}
response = requests.patch(api_url, auth=(username, password), json=data, headers=headers)
response.json()
print(response.json())
example that does not work:
import requests
import json
import pprint
username = 'xxx'
password = 'xxx'
api_url = "https://www.xxx.xx/wp-json/sportspress/v2/tables/5591"
headers = {'content-type': 'application/json'}
data = {'data': {'574': {'p': '14'}}}
response = requests.patch(api_url, auth=(username, password), json=data, headers=headers)
response.json()
print(response.json())
In all cases I get the status code 200 as response. I’ve also tried Postman. With the same result.
I would be happy if you could help me with this. Many thanks and best regards!
]]>For example my team played 1 match, and won 30-28 20-25 25-22 25-12, i would like to have a league table like this :
rank | Name | Pts | W | L | Pts for | Pts Against | ratio
1 | My team | 3 | 1 | 0 | 100 | 87 | 1.149
and actually i have
rank | Name | Pts | W | L | Pts for | Pts Against | ratio
1 | My team | 3 | 1 | 0 | 3 | 1 | 3
because points for and points against in volley-ball sport are sets and not points themself
