I come here to say that the developer was super helpful and his support for our project is outstanding. The plugin is very nicely programmed and extendible, you can easily tell that by reading the plugin’s source code. Feels like a fantasy book! It even includes unit tests which is rare case for a WordPress plugin.

Also i am amazed how much ahead is this plugin in terms of features, extendability and support than the other alternatives. The dev was able to help us to integrate it with third party API for generating keys. It’s a joy to work with and simply the best. Keep up the excellent work!

Hi there,

I have a wordpress website (with woocommerce) where I distribute digital products. I would like to add a licensing feature when selling these products in order to have more control over their distribution. The idea is pretty simple and standard: when a purchase is made, a license key is provided to the client in the woocommerce confirmation email. The license can then be used by the user to activate my product.

For the integration part between the license manager and my product, I plan on hiring a freelancer but before doing so, I first need to identify the appropriate plugin to use.

After some online research, all plugins available seem the offer more or less the same features so it’s hard to pick one over the others. One key feature that I need is a license key that can be used an unlimited number of times for the same product (to activate multiple versions of the same digital file) but would only work on one computer (i.e. node-locking). So if the file is shared to someone else, the license key won’t work on the other computer because it has already been activated on the first computer. I believe most plugins can keep track of the user’s computer ID or offer a custom field which I can use to return the computer ID.

I’ve currently identified the following plugins which all run on Woocommerce:

Having limited experience with this type of plugins, I’m wondering if there’s one plugin that is known as the reference in that domain or if the community has any suggestions for the best selection. If other people have been in a similar situation before and have picked a particular plugin, I’ll be happy to hear your feedback. Any color would be much appreciated.

Cannot add keys to products.

When attempting to add keys to products in the key create page, the drop down for “product” has no options, even though I have many products. I tried creating new products, and still nothing. If anyone has any information, or help, it would be greatly appreciated, I want to be able to automate this part of the business.

i want to generate once every year, that totals for more than thousands.

question:
can i export all of the keys instead of check all the checklist ( max 10 items i think so i’ll have to export 100 times )

License Keys not appearing on License Keys page

Hello!

I’ve recently installed your plugin and I am having issues with getting the keys to actually appear on the /license-keys/ page for users who already purchased keys prior to the plugin installation. Is there something i’m missing?

I don’t believe it needs to be implemented with PHP. I simply want subscribers to be able to view their keys.

Please assist.
