I’ve been searching for a self hosted LMS solution for a while. After comparing it to Lifter LMS, Masteriyo and Tutor LMS felt we had to go with MasterStudy. The interface takes a bit to get used to but the functionality, the way it looks and the ease to get it set up with it’s demo content makes it a great option for anyone looking to make their own self hosted LMS website. The price is also another factor with it being much cheaper for a unlimited lifetime license than the other options mentioned.

Hi,

My courses are free so the typical workflow would be this

The course has a free Access plan
The visitor clicks Start Learning Button and it’s redirected to the /purchase/?plan=$plan_number
Fill the Student Information Form and it’s enrolled.

After step 3 I would like to add an account (email) confirmation step. Is that possible? Because it’s free, automatic enrollment can lead to a lot of spam.

I’m trying to change the button text on some plugins (Lifter LMS to be exact) simply english to english, but I cannot find current videos that show the newest Loco Translate dashboard. They all show the old dashboard. Even the Lifter LMS video is not the same.

So what I see on my dashboard (Home, Themes, Plugins, WordPress, Languages, Settings), I click on Plugins, and then click my plugin. I see Overview, Setup, and Advanced.
It shows No translations found for “lifterlms”. So at this point I don’t know which steps to take.
If I click on Languages, then English, I see Lifter LMS. I click that, but then I see two warnings:
Warning: This is NOT a translation file. Manual editing of source strings is not recommended.
Notice: Changes to this file may be overwritten or deleted when you update WordPress
But that’s where I see what I would normally expect: The Source Text, etc…

Can anyone tell me where a good source of the correct way to use this?
Like I said, all the videos I’ve found are older and do not show the same dashboard as what I see.

Block issue with Lifter LMS

I downloaded the lifter lms plugin today and when I go to create a course in WP the corse info block has an error message…. “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”

I cannot edit this block. Only erase it but if I ad a new block for course information I get the same error message.

Course complete only if you aprovee the quiz lessons.

I’m looking to configure Lifter LMS so that I don’t have to mark every lesson in a course as complete. I want to mark the complete course when the user approves the questionnaire in the last lesson also if the student does not access the previous lessons. It’s possible?

lifter lms sidebar is not showing on the course

I wanted to create sidebar in the Hestia theme using lifter lms sidebar. But it seems whichever method I use, the sidebar is not showing. I have followed all the instructions from lifter lms documentation, but still, it is not working.

I would have thought that it won’t work on Hestia theme, but while I worked on it before, the sidebar worked nicely. But now, it is not working anymore. I needed to reset all the data from my WordPress site due to some technical difficulties, but now I am regretting as it is not working anymore.

Can anyone help me with this situation?

I have installed Lifter LMS plugin on my site and I have created a course and lesson using it. But I wanted to show the course progress and course syllabus in the sidebar part of the course. It worked well before, but due to some technical error, I erased all the data from my WordPress site and started from scratch. But now, no sidebar is showing on my course page even if I have followed all the instructions by Lifter LMS site. Can anyone help me with it?

I don’t want to eliminate the course syllabus listing on the right panel, but I want to make the panel much narrower so that my lesson content has more prominent.
