I did try to link to page instead of post from the album to show my photo in gallery. But, it look like preset the parameter link to post. How can I custom my gallery parameter link in album? Thank you!
PS: Thanks for the “FOO GALLERY” team to product amazing plugin.

Hi,
having gallery named, it is displayed on search result page as link, but the link does not work.
Example:
this search “https://alfa7.cz/mil/?s=E-2C&submit=Hledat” shows this link “https://alfa7.cz/mil/?p=712” to article, which works well, and this link “https://alfa7.cz/mil/?post_type=envira&p=1442” to gallery in main article, which does not work.
Is my understanding correct, that gallery itself cannot be displayed separatelly, just embedded into article/post/page? And if so, how to exclude gallery link from search results – while leading to “404” page?
Thank you.

I need help with NextGEN plugin for WordPress. It worked fine until recently, I don’t know exactly when, but I just found out today that it didn’t work.
Anyway, I figured out that in most cases it needs a “#” at the end of the link, but I don’t know how and where to edit the script.
Try this: go to https://gunawan.net/blogn/photo-albums/2013-in-pictures and click on the last gallery, “Try”. It will give a “page not found” error message.
The link to that gallery is https://gunawan.net/blogn/photo-albums/2013-in-pictures/nggallery/2013-in-pictures/try/
Now, copy and paste this, and it works. The difference is that I have to add a pound sign “#” at the end, after ‘try’:
https://gunawan.net/blogn/photo-albums/2013-in-pictures/nggallery/2013-in-pictures/try#/
In most cases, I can get to the gallery by adding “#” at the end.
Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I’m trying to open a NextGen gallery from an image link (an image that is not already in the gallery). I can get it to work using the following method (full details here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/open-nextgen-gallery-from-link-or-single-image):
<div style=”display: none;”>[nggallery id=20]

However it adds the image being used for the link, (i.e. /link-to/image.jpg) to the end of the gallery and opens the gallery starting from that image. So if there are 19 images in the gallery, clicking on this link opens /link-to/image.jpg as the 20th image.
Is there a way to simply make it so you can click on a link/image and start from image #1 in a NextGen gallery? I’ve been pulling my hair out over this one…any help is hugely appreciated!

is there a way to create a gallery that has one static preview image, that, when clicked, opens a lightbox with all items of the gallery?
Or would I have to instert an image that links to another site which includes the gallery?
Thanks in anticipation.

It sounds like people are having quite a few problems with adding photos with the newest version of WP.
What is the easiest way to accomplish this goal?
I could use Flickr for this also if that’s an easier solution but the JAlbum gallery looks much better.
Thanks, Bob
