The theme website format wants more of a landscape image and the picture I have is more portrait.
What are my options and how?

]]>Turns out the villain wasn’t WordPress, but Firefox — or perhaps Firefox and OSX 7 Lion, which may not be playing well together. and my version of Firefox is the most current, version 11.
Either way, the moment I switched from Firefox to Google Chrome, the problem stopped.
Has anyone else had this issue with WP and Firefox — and if so, is there a solution other than just not using Firefox anymore?
]]>I am absolutely new to the WordPress game, I used to be using iWeb from Apple but since they are discontinuing iWeb Hosting I am in the process of converting my old iWeb site to WordPress.
I have OSX Lion Server installed on my MacPro. I already have MAMP & WordPress installed and they are running under my ‘localhost:8888″ my goal is to use my MacPro as the actual public live server. I have my gateway set up so if you type in my IP address you see the test page of OSX Lion Server, and not the WordPress page. Currently OSX server is configured to look in ~/Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/Default
I added ~/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/AnimeFunTV to the list of websites however I can not delete the default location so I still see the OSX Lion Server test page regardless.
From my understanding is that the current set up I have with MAMP and WordPress is that its is only ‘local’ or only myself is the person who can view the WP page. I have been searching around the forums but I can not seem to find any help on having my Mac and OSX as the live public server. I apologize if this topic as come up before, its just so overwhelming to click through each search and read up on every post and it dose not answer what I’m looking for.
I appreciate any help possible.
]]>On Windows I was simply able to copy an image, then paste it into the visual editor. This doesn’t happen on Mac. Every time i paste nothing happens.
Anyone know how I can enable copying and pasting images into the visual editor?
I’m using Google Chrome, if that helps.
]]>Found only 3-4 years old posts regarding missing line- and page breaks.
I have same issue after modifying my page with mac (OS-X Lion 10.7.3).
I have created my page with windows desktop and now I would like to update the pages while traveling. I have tried to use Safari, Firefox, Opera and Camino browsers in my mac, but each of them have same issue, line- and page breaks go missing after switching between visual and html-modes.
Is there any plug-in or other solution to fix this extremely annoying issue?

]]>I’m hoping someone can help me out. I’ve been using MAMP and WP on my Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard for over a year. I followed the instructions and never had one issue using it.
I recently got a new desktop running Lion and while the MAMP installs fine I can’t seem to get any WP sites to load. When I try the URL I used in Snow Leopard (ex: localhost:8888/SiteName) I get a 404 error.
Web sharing IS on. I created a “Sites” folder (since it was gone with a fresh Lion install). If I go to the IP that it tells me is my site and access the site all I get is a directory listing – but no files work when I click them it just shows the PHP in the browser.
I’m pretty sure I’ve done something wrong along the way – any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much in advance,
Lindsey
What can I do?
