I saw a closed post on this topic, and and that would be interesting for us.
We use this plugin on webshop, where before Christmas or other holidays, we need to notify the customers, that they can order non-stop, but the orders will be processed after holiday.
Customers close the notification bar, and can order undisturbed. But If they come back to the webshop a few days later, they need to see the notification again.
It would great, If we can change between local / session storage.
Greets,
Bela
really nice plugin and easys to use when you know where the controls are.
But … what about storing fonts on local host? Because of the DSGVO (GDPR in english) it is very important for german users.
Do you plan to embed this function? Otherwise many website owners can’t use your nice plugin for legal reasons.
Second: I’m missing font-display: swap. Please add this option for performance and SEO-reasons too.
Thx for an fast answer.
]]>1. Install locally on my hard drive, making my computer a server and upload to a web host when I am done creating the site (this way I can work offline and store everything on my hard drive)
2. Use a container like Docker to create the server on my hard drive (this would be same as #1 except inside a container)
3. Don’t store anything locally, just use WP online (I believe this would still give me the option of storing backups so in case my web host went out of business or kicked me off, I would not need to start from scratch).
I want to understand what advantages/disadvantages there are to each of these options. There may be compatibility issues when uploading to my host that Docker could help with, but I’m not sure. There may be safety from hacking as well if it’s in a container, etc. Thanks.

I want to state in my privacy policy that I do not use any cookies, and I do not want visitors to think I am lying to them.

]]>Great plugin. I have a question. When I use your plugin for youtube videos, it creates images, and it is great but he creates images with such address – https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Hu2mBUMZrSY/hqdefault.jpg
Is it possible to store images locally or to increase cache time of images to 24 hours or better 2 weeks?

]]>1. I want a ‘comments’ field at the bottom of a web page with a checklist (that uses cookies to store the checkbox states), to allow the user to store personal comments for themselves only. This field must retain its content between sessions (for a particular browser), like the checkboxes. Does your plugin support this via local storage?
2. I would prefer the above field to not need a submit button. Done and cancel buttons would be fine. I guess this isn’t supported, but can hint how I might achieve this?
3. Would I need the Pro version?
Thanks!
