Hello, I have WordPress in Finnish, users also in Finnish, but in some mysterious way, Complianz setting appears in English and also generates the Cookie Policy in English.

WordPress 6.6.1, everything up to date.

I have installed the plugin via wpackagist-plugin/complianz-gdpr with composer if that makes any difference.

How do I manage to get the translation files? I have nothing which seems to be related to complianz in wp-content/languages or wp-content/languages/plugins

How to translate strings on frond end

Hello,

I’ve installed this plugin to try it out and it seems pretty good. However, I can’t find a way to translate strings displayed for users on the frond page (eg. weekdays. calendar title…).

My WP general settings are set to French, some strings are in French in the WP admin but everything is in English on the front-end.

Is there any files I can edit?

Reo Māori names with diacritic macrons above vowels causing issues with NZ Post

It’ s really great to see correct macrons over vowels in reo Māori place names, however it’s incompatible with NZ Post’s eShip service and results in eShip showing an “Invalid address”. Manually replacing the macron vowel with a plain text vowel fixed the invalid address issue

e.g.

Whangārei results in “Invalid address”. Replacing the “ā” with with a plain “a”, Whangarei, works.

Is there any way for the Address Finder plugin to only output plain text, at least until NZ Post starts spelling place names correctly?

I have tried this plugin and it actually works!

First of all, thank you for your great work.

I would like to know if there’s a possibility of making it compatible with Polylang, so that we are able to add different links to the same text depending on what language version of the website you’re browsing.

This may happen when two texts are the same accross languages.

Hello,
thank you for your plugin. Easy and simple, yet professional.
But I unable to find way to localise it. I mean, I understand that you have ability to change strings on your language. But i need that customer on my English version of the site receives English transactional emails, but Latvian customer in Latvian. I use WPML, tried to retrieve strings – but there are no way to localise templates itself.
Is it possible?

I’m trying to localise my plugin and I have a hyperlink with this format:

 Link Text

I tried replacing the Link Text as follows:

 __('Link Text','myplugin')

but this results in an error.

What is the correct approach to localising the link text? Thanks

Ich bin bisher mittelpr?chtig begeistert. Das Tool ist mir durch seine Meldungen etwas zu geschw?tzig. Einstellungen dafür w?ren wünschenswert.

Es fehlt eine Lokalisierung in anderen Sprachen oder eine M?glichkeit zur Lokalisierung. Die Einblendungen im Admin-Bereich beim Artikel verfassen sind nervig. Der Inhalt der E-Mails bei entdecktem Spam ist nichtsagend.

Da ist noch Luft nach oben.
