Lost access to www.ads-software.com Email

Hi there,

I lost access to the email address that I use to log into www.ads-software.com.

Thankfully the password is still the same so I can log in, but now I have this issue that I can’t change the email address because verification gets sent to a non-existent address.

The reason why I would like to update the email address is because I would like to receive notifications and also because I’ve had this account for many many years.

What is the recommended course of action here? Create a new account?

Hey, new here so apologies of I’m in the wrong place.
My website was created some years ago by a friend I am no longer in contact with so everything is set to their email. I noticed recently that my site was down (link provided) so tried to login to WordPress admin. It had been sometime since I had used that site (it’s more like an archive of past work) and I can’t remember what the password is. If I try to reset it it goes to my friends email and like I said I can’t contact them.
Is there anything I can do to recover my site? I can prove it’s my intellectual property etc. I’m feeling quite desperate about it as I also ran a blog with some family photos posted that I no longer have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can’t Retrieve Password for Site

Hello!

I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so please feel free to tell me to refer me if wrong.

I recently started working for a company, WD Promotions and went to log into their website’s WordPress Admin page. Turns out that the password myself and my employer have is inaccurate. No big deal, I thought, I’ll just “lost password” it and move on. It turns out that for some reason the website is not associated with any email addresses on file for the website, so “lost password” is sending to…somewhere, we don’t know.

Does anyone know of a way to find out what email address is associated with the website, or of a way to change said email address so we can access things again.

hi, i lost access to my blog www.mortgagebytrish.ca i don’t remember the email but i do remember the password. i believe i entered a typo in my email, since i cant find authentication codes. i am hosting with rebel.com and was able to sign in through them, i uninstalled plugins but not change anything else, and now when i log in through rebel, i get an error 404 page not found. the error page is on my blog site (www.mortgagebytrish.ca/rbl-mgmt)
with only the email, the recovery doesn’t work (since i do not have proof of ownership.. since it was sent to an email that ultimately does not exist)
i really need help getting whatever email was used so i can log in and correct it!

Hi all. I created a WP website back in May of this year. I was quite ill at the time and ended up having surgery two weeks later. I’m finally back on my feet again and am trying to work on my site. My problem is…..I think I must have created a special email address for this new site because my normal email isn’t a “valid email” for my admin login on WP. Is there a way I can find out which email address I used so I can remind myself?

I know this sounds dumb, but at the time I thought I was being really smart….haha.

Lost user name and email address

I have tried to log in but WordPress does not recognize my user name or password. I am concerned because for other reasons someone was able to hack my computer last week and they may have changed the user name (which is not the one for this forum) and email address settings within WordPress because it was open on my computer at the time of the hack. How do I get into my site without the user name and email address?

I recently downloaded “Custom Login” as a Plugin and was locked out of my account shortly after. I run cambridgeenergyalliance.org. My admin page displays this:

I can’t login at all.

I unfortunately don’t have many options to fix this. I don’t have the email that my organization used to set up the account, and I keep being notified that my password doesn’t work anymore, which leads me to believe it has been changed.

What are my options for: either shutting down this plugin, changing my email to reset the password, or generally recovering the website? Any help would be appreciated.

Lost Password, Recovery Email Address Obsolete

I created a website for my freelance business more than a year ago, but it’s been sitting pretty much unused because I wound up with a full-time job that put my business on the back burner. Now I need to access it and can’t because I have no login information and no longer have the email address that I associated with the website once upon a time. This is how that happened: I use a cloud-based password vault, so I don’t have my passwords memorized or written down anywhere else. When I went to login to the admin page for my WP site today, I found that the password vault had only stored my password, not my username. I can’t retrieve login information via email, because I changed ISPs after moving across the country; the email address associated with my WP site was long ago disabled by my old ISP. I also don’t even remember my username, because I maintain a WP blog and another WP.org site, and those two usernames are the ones that are sticking in my mind. For my freelance site, I’ve tried every possible username I can imagine I might have used, but I’m having no luck remembering. Now I not only can’t update my site but also can’t even shut it down, but leaving it as is really isn’t a good option because it’s so dated–and I don’t want potential clients/employers Googling a dated site. Is there anything I can do or is my site now doomed to live on forevermore as is? If you have suggestions, please explain them to me as though you’re talking to a technology greenhorn, because that’s what I am. Thank you!

Account Recovery: Awardspace hosted site, lost email and password?

Hello!
A little over one week ago, I used the site “Awardspace” to purchase the domain “www.morgankinsinger.com,” and host the site for one year. I opted to use wordpress as a design platform, and entered my contact information for wordpress through a pop up menu on awardspace’s site. I am fairly confident I entered the following information at that time:
Email: redacted
Password: *********
However, I could have made a typing error. I auto logged in to the site to design it for the following week, but on July 10th was unable to log back in after logging out. I tried to have my password emailed to redacted, but nothing came. I contacted awardspace with the log in problem, but they said that I needed to log in to WP Admin with the username/password combination I set during the WordPress installation, and that, “we cannot provide it to you, because we do not log the access credentials for our clients scripts.” So right now I am trying to figure out how to log into this site. I think that either (a) I typed in my email wrong during the initial installation, or (b) Awardspace changed/lost my information somehow during the installation process. I can provide email documentation of my correspondence with and receipts from Awardspace (and my password) for verification.

Also of note: I started the website: www.morgankinsinger.wordpress.com with the email redacted on July 10th after I realized that I could not log into my original purchased website, because I needed a website right away (I was leaving the country that day and wanted to make sure I had a blog set up before I left to update friends and family). This free wordpress site has nothing to do with the site I purchased from awardspace the week before.
