I have been using your SEO plugin for 2 years now, (for 6 blogs) and have studied dozens of your articles. My traffic has steadily gotten worse and now I get 0 or 1 visits a day, no matter what I change or do.
I wrote about this here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/google-is-crawling-my-website-but-wont-index-it-i-am-invisible/
One person was very helpful and pointed out that I am using category in your Meta Title – in fact, I changed it by hand on each post, to add a cartoon category – but forgot to change it in the WP Settings!
What do you advise? Should I do a 301 on each post, and then change General Settings to Post-category-title?
Also: I still think Google is somehow burying me. I got only 19 visits in 1 month!! I’ve had this blog for 11 years! Am I doing something wrong that you can see?

]]>I have a WordPress website which gets 5-10 visitors a day, usually during daytime. I have set up backups to run during the night, so the users don’t get any performance degradation while the backup runs. However, if I understand it right, if I don’t have any visitors during the night time, the first visitor in the morning will cause the backups to run. Is there a way to ping (sorry if it is not the right name for it) the website so it causes the backups to run?
Thank you!
]]>A few months ago we migrated an eCommerce store from Prestashop to WordPress & Woocommerce platform.
Once migrated we recategorised most products into a better more structured product category arrangement, created a new sitemap and submitted to google for re-indexing.
However since then we have suffered and dramatic drop in website visitors and hits to 30% of what they were pre-migration. This has led to a drop in online sales.
We then installed to 404 to start plugin and log emails for sites or hits trying to access old URL’s and its generating about 600 redirect errors a day and probably de-ranked us on Google quite a bit.
Is their anyway we can fix this in bulk or quickly and get or SEO and sales back to were it was. Or do we have just manually slog through them and correct them as they happen with a 301 redirect plugin
Our other plan in parallel is to go through all the products individually and get their Yoast SEO (pro plugin) status to good by adding better descriptions, keywords and images.
Any advise would be appreciated and we would also be interested in quotations & proposals to fix it

]]>I recently got google webmaster tools verified and resubmitted my sitemap, which was found ok, but I doubt this is the problem, since I always get at least SOME direct traffic. Just a fluke? A slow day? or some kind of error in the stats? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

]]>What’s strange is that when I stated this my traffic (numbers via Google Analytics) dropped off dramatically. My first thought was these ads make people mad. But I turned off the ads and the traffic numbers picked back up. So I turned the ads back on and numbers fell again. It seems like something is wrong as I seemed to have more visitors via comments and incoming links for one post one day than Analytics shows!
Anyone have an idea on this? Are ads blocking Analytics or something? I’m stumped as to what to do as the low numbers are disheartening.
