Are Magee Shortcodes Discontinued????

Magee has not responded to anyone in this forum in over 6 months. The shortcodes as a free version do not work as shows on Magee’s demo site. Does anyone know if the shortcodes work if you buy Pro? And since it is open source, has anyone ever edited the shortcode?

Magee Shortcodes are Promising but Not Working

I have several Magee Shortcodes on my site and none of them do what they say they do. Borders don’t show up when called, no images are being pulled and displayed. I know others are having similar issues but not sure there is a solution for now. I am on WP 4.7.3 and this solution is not certified for 4.7.3 so these types of errors might occur. I have sort of jury rigged the shortcodes to get them to do some of the things I want them to do but there is some formatting control still missing from them.

Sent a request for support almost 2 weeks ago – silence. Not sure if that is a good sign or not. I went to get a new password because I cannot login with the password I gave them and the system does not send an email to get a new password. Seems like there are a lot of broken things with Magee right now.

Video Doesn’t Work on Mobile!

This program looks flashy, but support disabled video for mobile, and did not note this on the theme! I spent an entire week building a site. Video would not work on mobile, despite many futile attempts. I sent a detailed request and got this back from support:

“The HTML5 video background could display on mobiles but the youtube video background could not display well so we choose to disable it.
To make background image cover the section you could add following code to custom css .homepage section {background-size:cover} or choose to set background image as 100%(pro).” 3/13/2017

IOW: Support disabled mobile video, but they don’t tell you that inside the theme or the sales pages! A solid 5 star waste of time.

Also, as someone else said: the theme breaks all the time. FF consistently played the opening video. IE did sometimes, and sometimes not. Mobile never did.

If you want to use video, avoid this theme. It will waste your time.

Change background to solid color only on mobile

I’m having an issue where the background image used for the parallax on the desktop site repeats itself vertically all the way down my one-page website when I’m on my iPhone. Instead of trying to fix that, I’d rather go with the simple fix of having a solid color as the background, but only on mobile devices. I got a custom CSS started, but I’m not very proficient in programming and it doesn’t work.
Where am I going wrong?

[Theme Alchem] Navigation and Apperance on Mobile Devices

Hey, I am using the beautiful Alchem Theme but i am struggling with two things.

First:
My Manu is not working on mobile devices as i cannot click on the toggle navigation bars. Nothing is happening here on homepage and on other pages it kind of works but appears behind the title bars.

Second:
the body of the frontpage on mobile devices is set “relative” but it is not i think. Having a look at the frontpage it is only shown in two third of the space.

Uploaded Images Don't Show

First off, I am no developer. I am a web designer/graphic designer. So my coding skills leave something to be desired.

Now on to the issue:

Just before the recent update to 4.0.1 images showed up just fine. Now they are completely blank in the media library, posts, pages, etc. What’s the deal? I’ve done everything I could think of: change permissions, uploading manually… Nothing works.

I’m using Magee Themetify theme if that is of any use.
