Jquery.browser.js depreciation error

I have installed the latest version of the Magic Members plugin (v1.8.7) and its backend UI is not working because of jQuery.
The Magic Member plugin depends on the old legacy version of jQuery (1.12*) and is not supported with the latest jQuery because jQuery has completely removed the browser() support.
The only solution that I came up with, is to install the JQuery Migrate helper plugin but this is just a temporary solution.
Please guide some solid permanent solution to fix this.

WordPress Membership accept new members

I have in my header, links for Subscribe/Login/Logout/Profile (activate in this Theme).

I’m using the latest version of WP and Magic Members.

When I activate Settings -> General -> Membership, it cause a problem with the header menu.

Even connected or not, it show Profile/Logout instead of Login/Subscribe.

Is it a bug?

I am using the magic members plugin, after successful login it is redirecting to wp-admin for admin and profile page for users now I want to change the redirect for the users from profile page to any other page . can any one help me in this..

No form validation error messages when using Magic Members and a custom theme

I am working on a website using Magic Members and a custom built theme. There is an issue with form validation error messages not displaying on forms such as login and register. Which can be found here: https://cymmrodorion.wpengine.com/register/

The error message div is created but is empty:

We have enabled a default WordPress theme and validation error messages DO display fine but do not on our custom theme. We have also disabled plugins one at a time and tested the forms again but error messages still do not display. We have also removed any theme related JS from the pages but with no luck either. This is also an issue on the standard WordPress login page when our theme is enabled.

Has anyone experienced an issue like this before and have any possible solution?

Hello,

Love the plugin – reduced spam to zero. However, one of the issues we have is with larger corporations who tend to be caught under the “Cache bad ip” or “spoofed IP” umbrella.

The plugin prevents them from registering and prevents them from retrieving a lost password. At one point it also prevented logging in but I unchecked “Check IP on wp-login.php” which worked.

With magic memebers we have custom login and lost password pages. They are able to initiate the lost password process but if they click on the link from the email…they get turned away.

Any suggestions or work arounds would be greatly appreciated.

I have a site (it is adult content so will not put the link here) and have installed magic members to manage the membership system, however whenever you fill in your name and password it just takes you to the wordpress log in page not my members page on my website, ive been searching for hours how to fix this and its driving me crazy, thanks in advance.

I have been using Magic Members since April. I have had a few issues with it but mainly issues with processing payments. We use authorize.net. When a member signs up and fills out all the required fields correctly, it still will not process their information. Leaving them labeled as inactive. If they put in their information correctly why would this happen? How do I avoid these sign up issues?

Can't access admin control panel – help!

I recently installed magic members software, which was all working brilliantly, until I managed to somehow turn myself into a member instead of an admin! Now I can’t access anything on the dashboard except my profile and members content. I have uninstalled magic members through ftp, I have re-installed a backup of the site from before I managed to demote myself, and I’ve even tried deleting everything from the ftp but wp-content and wp-config.php and re-installing the rest of the files. Nothing so far has worked and I’m completely stumped. I even thought I might have been hacked, but all scans are clear and my server host says it’s all fine their end.

Help!

Magic Affiliates plugin not tracking sales

Hi guys,

I purchased Magic Affiliates to complement with Magic Members for my membership site.

Magic affiliates is supposed to work smoothly with magic members in tracking affiliate sales. But that is not what’s happening.

The clicks on the affiliate links are being tracked & recorded properly but the sales are not. I have already contacted the plugin developer’s support but they are very poor at this.

I even requested for a refund and they did not issue it, they don’t even reply to my emails anymore. So I thought I’d ask here, maybe some people here have had this same issue and was able to resolve it?

Please share your solution guys..
