I’ve tried with Chrome inspector to figure out what the CSS is doing but I’ve got nowhere. I think the theme leverages the Magnific popup script as does one of my plugins, GiveWP Donations which may be relevant. I have some JQuery snippets that also use the Magnific script which show the same issue – see the Sea Levels link on the example page.
Can anyone help me work out why it’s happening and how I can hide one of the arrows?
Thanks.
]]>I’ve just started using the Give plugin on a client’s website.
It’s working excellently. However, the client has asked if it’s possible (when using the modal form) to dismiss the popup form by clicking the background overlay. Default behaviour allows users to dismiss the popup by clicking the top x only.
From a previous support article (https://givewp.com/load-donation-form-popup-give/) I saw that Give used to use Magnific for its popups, in which case it would be possible to add the option ‘closeOnBgClick = true’ to the initialisation script. Is there something similar we can do on the modal popup form?
Thanks,
Eva
]]>Two issues:
1] Neither plugin renders the caption or description with the image. I’d like at least one of them.
2] I’m uncomfortable with having two concurrent javasacripts that do the same thing.
Does anybody know how I can alter Magnific to work with ordinary inline images as well as featured images?
And what do I need to add so as to get the caption, etc along with the image?
(I used to be good at Jquery but that was a while ago and I’ve lost confidence – I will be able to follow instructions!)
]]>I have also a slider which show gallery created in a post as popup if there’s any created) after clicking on featured image. In short: if I have a gallery, then slider appears, if I have no gallery, then popup shows only enlarged featured photo. This slider works fine in every case.
I make a category page almost the same as blog page, but i think that echo’ed content url for popup have a wrong form.
There’s a php file for blog-page:

and there’s a php file for category page:

Im wrong in line 35 or entire category page script is bad? Please tell me, what i must paste in the code (and where) to make it works.
Please see, what I mean exactly and click on the left photo on the link below. Then go out of category by clicking All, which show posts from all categories and click on this post again. Popup work only, when user don’t choose the category.
