By moving to SendWP as I understand, I can bypass our SMTP and use SendWP as a mail services.
So far so good.
But my concern is that I have a way to sign up for SendWP and insure that it handles all of our needs and if not be able to go back to Mail Bank Business Edition.
I believe this may be as simple as deactivating the one plugin and active the other. But I’ve been bitten before by thinking things will be simple and I do not want a situation where our site is unable to send mail for any longer than an hour or so.
If anyone has done this specific swap out or another similar I’d be interested in hearing of your experience or even if it’s a similar situation using another plugin and internal SMTP server.
Thanks!
]]>To connect with an email client, you would enter ‘mail.kingplush.com’ for both the incoming and outgoing mail server.
Outgoing mail requires authentication, and SSL or TLS should not be used. The outgoing mail port is 25, or 26 if it is blocked.
Did that and ran a test email. Unfortunately, nothing worked. Got an error message like this:

Contact the admin of the server and ask if they allow outgoing communication on port 25,465,587.
It seems like they are blocking certain traffic. Ask them to open the ports.

Doesn’t matter if I use Port 25 or 26 as HostGator suggests.
HostGator won’t provide any support on this or any third party plugins. Yea, wasn’t my call to go with these guys. I usually don’t. So how can I solve this?

Is this an Office365 issue, a WooCommerce issue, one from my web host (HostGator) or something else?
