A company of MailChimp’s size can easily afford to maintain this WordPress plugin.
Either support the plugin or delete it.
My e-mail sign-up isn’t working on my site. I’m about to launch a giveaway. This is the message I saw in wordpress:
Error connecting to MailChimp: 503 Service Unavailable
Looks like your server is blocked by MailChimp’s firewall. Please contact MailChimp support and include the following reference number: Reference Number: 00.3ff2f33f.1531423041.17c94940
Any idea how I can fix this quickly? I contacted Mailchimp and they told me to contact WordPress and that there’s nothing that they can do. They also said this:
The message you’re seeing is generated from one of our upstream providers, Akamai. Akamai is a service that filters incoming requests by IP address, and denies requests based on IP reputation. This response indicates that the IP address was recently associated with several malicious actions taken against Akamai-managed URLs. Since Akamai sees around 20% of all internet traffic, you might’ve seen this issue when connecting to other applications with the same IP. We’re not able to remove this block from our end.
]]>To clarify, I want to use the jetpack comment form and use that check box that is at the bottom of the comment form that allows them to subscribe, but I would want them to go on my mailchimp list and not the jetpack list.
]]>The API key has been entered and it seems to be connected. I also added the list I wanted to the form. What am I doing wrong? I’m on 4.5.2 running the Advocator theme.
The website is https://caring4children.h5mp.com/. It hasn’t been rolled out to the general public yet, but I’ve tested the form with a few different personal email addresses and none of them got added to my list.
Thanks in advance to any help you can give me.

]]>A. Why is the height of the two fields different?
B. How do I get them both to be as wide as the field will allow.
Thanks!

]]>Apologies if the wrong place for this but curious if you’ve seen demand for those wanting support for Campaign Monitor in the same way you support MailChimp.
I’d want to put my vote in and maybe raise awareness in this support forum if others would want the feature.

Really, I would like both these functionalities in one plugin! Is that possible?
And if I decide to give up on Mailchimp and just invite people to subscribe to wp.org, which widget should I use?
I’m confused! Thanks, Sue
